Cat phones, popular for its rugged phones has launched its flagship Cat S60 in India. It was introduced at MWC 2016 as the world’s first smartphone with an integrated thermal camera. It is also waterproof to depths of up to 5 meters for one hour, allowing it to be used as an underwater camera. It also exceeds military spec since it is built to withstand drops onto concrete from up to 1.8 meters, and it’s dustproof. Google Chrome has been a primary reason for battery drain on laptops. The company has been working on improving Chrome’s efficiency for about a couple of years. It’s been a while since we saw a compelling flagship from HTC. The HTC 10 Evo launched back a couple of months back wasn’t much of an upgrade over the 10 and offered little reason for users to upgrade. With the U Ultra, the company has adopted a somewhat refreshed design though the device is unmistakably an HTC. What is more interesting is that HTC isn’t really calling this its flagship and maintains that it still has a lot more under its sleeve. The U.S. Department of Justice has charged two Russian intelligence officers and two state-sponsored hackers for the massive 2014 Yahoo hacks. The four men face 47 criminal charges including computer fraud and economic espionage. This marks the first time the U.S. government has issued criminal charges against Russian officials for cyber attacks.
