OnePlus has started rolling out OxygenOS 4.5.14 update for the OnePlus 5, soon after the OxygenOS 4.5.13 that rolled out last month. The latest update brings VoLTE support for Airtel users in India in select cities where it is available, fixes KRACK WP2 Wi-Fi protocol vulnerability, optimization of battery usage in some cases, optimization for GPS accuracy along with bug fixes. Paytm today has launched the much-awaited Inbox chat feature on its app which besides from sending and receiving money, lets you chat with your friends and family. It is a full-fledged messaging application which allows you to share photos, and videos besides money.
On the occasion of YouTube Kids first birthday in India, the company has rolled an update that brings fresh new look, more parental controls, kid profiles and more to the app. YouTube Kids was launched in India back in November 2016. The company says that new features are incorporated into extensive research and inputs gathered from kids and parents.
Facebook’s Bonfire app which was launched for iOS in Denmark a few months back is now available for Android. Bonfire is a group video chat application that closely resembles Houseparty application that was launched last year.

Smartphone vendors shipped a total of 373.1 million smartphones worldwide, up 2.7% year over year, and up 7.4% from the second quarter, in the third quarter of 2017 (3Q17), as per the latest International Data Corporation (IDC). “Despite the annual growth being low, the fact that it is positive leading into the holiday quarter is a sign the industry still has momentum,” said IDC. Contrast to the market speculations; Apple is said to be to be using the same 6P lens design even for the 2018 iPhone models according to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. Apple has reported quarterly revenue of $52.6 billion, up 12% over last year with a net profit of $10.7 billion in their earnings for the financial year Q3 2017 that ended September 30, 2017. Revenues were up 7% year-over-year. Apple reported quarterly earnings per diluted share of $2.07, up 24% from a year ago. During earnings call Tim Cook said that Apple generated revenue growth across all of our product categories and showed all-time record results for its Services business. Bose today launched the Quiet Comfort 35 (QC35) II noise-cancelling headphones with support for Google Assistant in India. The second-generation QC35 headset comes with settings to control the noise around you. It promises the same 20 hours of battery life and the same controls remain on the right earcup – audio volume, and the multi-function button for incoming calls and accessing Siri.
OPPO today announced the R11s and R11s Plus smartphones at an event in China, as it had promised. The R11s has a 6.01-inch FHD+ full-screen AMOLED screen, 85.8% screen-to-body ratio and the R11s Plus has a slightly larger 6.43-inch FHD+ full-screen AMOLED screen with 85.95% screen-to-body ratio.
