Micromax Canvas 2 Plus with 5.7-inch HD+ display, face unlock, 4000mAh battery launched for Rs. 8999

Micromax has released Canvas 2 Plus, one year after launching the  Canvas 2 (2017) in the Canvas series. It has a 5.7-inch HD+ 2.5D curved glass screen with 18:9 aspect ratio, is powered by a quad-core processor, has a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera wit support for face unlock, however it still runs on Android Nougat. OnePlus 6 OxygenOS 5.1.7 update with bootloader bypass vulnerability fix released; 5.1.6 roll out paused in India due to stability issues, 5.1.8 with fixes coming

OnePlus rolled out OxygenOS 5.1.6 with several new features including portrait mode support for the front camera, battery percentage in the status bar, Idea VoLTE support in India Dual-4G network option and more a few days back. Now the company has released  OxygenOS 5.1.7 update with some fixes, including fixes for the bootloader protection bypass vulnerability, as it had promised. Check out the complete changelog below. OPPO A5 with 6.2-inch 19:9 FullView display, 4GB RAM, dual rear cameras, Android 8.1 gets certified

Earlier: OPPO smartphones with model numbers PBAM00 / PBAT00 have been certified by TENAA in China. This reveals a budget smartphone with a 6.2-inch HD+ screen with 19:9 aspect ratio, minimal bezels, 1.8GHz Octa-Core SoC, which could be Snapdragon 450,  Android 8.1 (Oreo) with ColorOS 5.0, 13-megapixel rear camera along with a secondary 2-megapixel camera for portrait shots. It will come with an 8-megapixel front-facing camera, and will like come with face unlock, however it doesn’t have a fingerprint sensor. OnePlus 6 sales cross 1 million in 22 days globally, becomes the fastest selling OnePlus device

OnePlus today announced that OnePlus 6, the company’s flagship smartphone has crossed 1 million sales globally within 22 days of launch. The OnePlus 6 has also become OnePlus’ fastest selling smartphone, since the first OnePlus One smartphone was launched back in 2013. OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T each sold a million units within three months of their launch. Nokia X6 update brings option to hide the notch, new AI portrait features, June Android security patch and more

HMD Global introduced the Nokia X6 smartphone in China. Few weeks after the phone went on sale in China, the company has pushed a new software update that brings several new features including an option to hide the notch, similar to most of the smartphones. The update also brings updates to AI portraits that lets you swap the background.
