OPPO has announced Reno Z, the company’s new addition to the Reno series. It has a 6.4-inch Full HD+ AMOLED water-drop notch display, unlike the no-notch screen in the other Reno models. It is also the first smartphone to be powered by MediaTek’s latest Helio P90 12nm SoC. The phone has up to 8GB of RAM, retains the 48-megapixel primary rear camera with Sony IMX586 sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary camera, but this comes with a 32-megapixel front camera.
Meizu just announced 16Xs, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone in China as it had promised. It has a 6.2-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with ultra narrow bezel and 90.29% screen-to-body ratio, is powered by Snapdragon 675 with up to 6GB of RAM, runs Flyme OS 7 based Android Pie with One Mind 3.0 AI, has a 48-megapixel rear camera with Samsung ISOCELL Bright GM1 sensor, night mode along with an 8-megapixel 118.8° ultra-wide and a 5-megapixel camera. Samsung Electronics today announced that its Exynos Auto 8890 processor will be powering German automobile manufacturer Audi’s third generation high-spec modular infotainment platform (MIB). The advanced in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) system will be equipped as standard in the new A4 and upcoming models.
JioMusic app was rebranded to JioSaavn with a new look and features last year. Recently, a new feature was rolled out where users could share JioSaavn songs to Facebook and Instagram Stories. In similar lines, the feature is now being extended to Snapchat and JioSaavn will now let you share songs to Snapchat and improve music discovery.

After the Android Pie update for Galaxy M30 earlier this week, Samsung has started rolling out Android 9.0 (Pie) One UI 1.1 update for the Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20 smartphones in India, few days before it had promised. MediaTek at the Computex 2019 in Taiwan today announced the company’s first 5G SoC built using 7nm FinFET process technology and MediaTek Helio M70 5G modem built in. It uses the latest Cortex-A77 CPU, Mali-G77 GPU and MediaTek’s most advanced AI processing unit (APU). The multi-mode 5G chipset is for 5G stand alone and non-stand alone (SA/NSA) sub-6GHz networks. It supports connectivity from 2G to 4G to bridge existing network access while 5G networks roll out globally.
