Along with his career, he is also retiring the Hydrogen Project which was RED attempt at creating a flagship smartphone camera, which proved to be unsuccessful.

Google released Stable Android 10 update to Pixel smartphones last month and other OEMs are also now gradually updating their devices to Android 10. Last week, it was discovered that Galaxy S10 series and the Note 10 series had a fatal security flaw where users who installed a silicon cover for the phone could unlock their phone using any fingerprint, registered or not. Samsung acknowledged the issue and said they will soon release the fix for it. Less than a week later, the fix has been rolled out to the affected devices through a software update.

Xiaomi’s sub-brand POCO launched the POCO F1 smartphone in India back in August 2018 running MIUI 9.6 Global Stable on top of Android 8.1 (Oreo) and later updated it to Android 9.0 in December 2018.
