Xiaomi just announced Mi watch, the company’s first smartwatch in the Mi Ecosystem in China, as it had promised. It has a 1.78-inch AMOLED touch screen with support for over 100 watch faces, is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 3100 with 1GB of RAM, runs Wear OS with MIUI for Watch on top with over 40 apps and has support for eSIM for 4G VoLTE calling through all the major operators in China such as China Telecom and China Unicom. Microsoft has announced new updates to its Edge browser and Bing search engine. The updates are designed to improve compatibility to Edge while increasing the capabilities to find and access corporate information that is known to exist on company intranets. Microsoft has also released a host of features for IT professionals.
Flipkart has announced their entry into the streaming stick market with the launch of the MarQ TurboStream. It supports a resolution of 1080p, dual band Wi-Fi, built-in Chromecast and runs Android 9.0 with full access to Google Play apps.

Xiaomi just announced its Mi TV 5 series at an event in China, as it had promised. Both come in 55-inch, 65-inch and 75-inch models, but the Mi TV 5 Pro feature Quantum Dot 4K QLED panels and the frame is 47.1% narrower than the Mi TV 4 series offering 97% screen-to-body ratio for an immersive experience. These have metal body with integrated curved frame so the back plate has no screws. The 55-inch model just 5.9mm at its thinnest point, 65-inch is 6mm and the 75-inch model is 9.9mm. In recent weeks, quite a few unannounced HUAWEI devices surfaced in renders and now, three new HUAWEI devices have surfaced which also includes a tablet too. Latest renders of HUAWEI MatePad Pro tablet with dual rear cameras, in-screen front camera, stylus have surfaced alongside the renders of HUAWEI P Smart 2020 and HUAWEI Nova 6 smartphones.

Vivo launched the Y91 smartphone earlier this year in India starting at Rs. 10,990 and later launched the Y91i smartphone starting at Rs. 7990. Both smartphones got a price cut back in May this year and now again both Vivo Y91 and Y91i have received a price cut in India and will be available at revised prices online and offline stores as well.

Xiaomi has emerged as India’s biggest exclusive offline brand in India, according to a market research survey conducted by Channel Play, a Retail Execution & Measurement company in India. The survey evaluated 11 product based industries and concluded Xiaomi as the largest in the country, with Samsung in second place.
