Lenovo-owned Moto at the IFA 2017 announced the Moto X4, the company’s latest smartphone in the ‘Moto X’ series. It packs a 5.2-inch 1080p screen, is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 630 Mobile Platform and runs on Android 7.1 (Nougat) with support for Google Assistant and also has support for Amazon Alexa.

Apple iPhone 8 event scheduled for September 12

Apple has officially announced its September 12th event, after recent rumors. This year’s invite shows a shadow inside the Apple logo in Blue and Red colors without revealing any other details. This is the first time it is holding the event at the Steve Jobs Theater located at the company’s new Apple Park campus. Xiaomi has sold over 25 million smartphones in India

Xiaomi today announced that it has sold 25 million smartphones in India since it entered the country in July 2014 with the Mi 3. It sold 22,000 phones per day on an average to reach the milestone in 3 years and 1 month. Samsung unveiled the T5 portable SSD earlier this month. Today it has launched it in India. This has the same compact design and weighs just 51 grams as last year’s T3, but this offers up to 540 MB/s transfer speed and uses USB 3.1 Gen 2 (10Gbps) interface compared to up to 450MB/s transfer speed and USB 3.1 Gen 1 (5Gbps) interface. Sony just announced the Xperia XZ1, the company’s latest flagship smartphone at the IFA 2017 in Berlin. It has a 5.2-inch 1080p HDR screen, is powered by an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Mobile Platform and is the first phone to be announced with Android 8.0 (Oreo). It comes with a 19-megapixel Motion Eye camera with 1/ 2.3″ Exmor RS memory stacked sensor, 960 fps super slow motion videos, Predictive Capture, Anti-distortion shutter, Triple image sensing technology and  5-axis image stabilization for shake-free videos, similar to the XZs.

It has a 1.0″-type stacked 15.3 MP Exmor RS CMOS image sensor, BIONZ X processor and a wide-angle ZEISS Tessar T 24mm F4 fixed lens to capture both RAW and JPEG stills and 4K video, full HD at 240 fps and super slow motion capture at up to 960 frames per second. Western Digital Corporation at the IFA 2017 in Berlin announced SanDisk Ultra 400GB microSDXC, which it claims to be world’s highest-capacity microSD card, couple of years after introducing 200GB microSDXC card. It meets the Application Performance Class 1 (A1) requirements from the latest SD Association’s SD 5.1 specifications that lets the card to load apps faster.
