Google has updated its Tez mobile payments app that brings support for bill payments, as it had promised. It has support for over 90 billers, including national and state electricity providers, gas and water, and DTH recharge. Some of them include billers like Reliance Energy, BSES and DishTV, and Google says that it will cover all states and major metros in India.

Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 5 smartphone in India last week. We recently brought you the unboxing and first impressions of the smartphone, here we have the camera samples from the phone. The Redmi Note 5 has a 12-megapixel rear camera with 5-element lens, f/2.2 aperture and large 1.25μm pixel size, compared to 1.12μm pixel size on the Redmi Note 4. It also comes with dual-tone LED flash. It has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture and selfie flash.

It is already known that LG will be introducing an enhanced version of the V30 smartphone with A.I features at the MWC 2018 later this months, instead of G6’s successor. Now @evleaks is saying that the next LG flagship will be codenamed ‘Judy’ with a brand new design will be introduced in June. The phone is said to feature a 6.1-inch 18:9 FullVision display, but it will use a MLCD+ panel with white sub-pixel in RGBW matrix offering high, 800-nit brightness while consuming 35% less power compared to IPS LCD panels. Reliance Jio has launched Jio Football offer that offers Rs. 2,200 instant cashback for all new smartphones getting added on to Jio’s network. When a new smartphone user does a Rs. 198 or Rs. 299 recharge for the first time, starting today until 31st March 2018, the 44 vouchers of Rs. 50 will be credited to the customers MyJio account. These vouchers can be redeemed instantly against subsequent recharges of Rs 198 or Rs. 299 on MyJio.

Earlier this week Qualcomm introduced Snapdragon X24 as the world’s first 7nm LTE modem with up to 2Gbps download speeds as the successor of the Snapdragon X20 that is being used by in the Snapdragon 845 10nm SoC. The company will likely introduce the Snapdragon 855 later this year or early next year. Now hints of SDM855 points to the chip using 7nm process technology.

Google introduced the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL smartphones in India at a starting price of Rs. 61,000 and Rs. 73,000, respectively. Back in December Google announced a price cut for both the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL phones both online and offline. Currently the phone come with flat Rs. 11001 and Rs. 8001 discount, respectively.
