HUAWEI Mate Xs with 8-inch foldable display, Kirin 990 5G SoC, Leica Quad Cameras announced

HUAWEI has introduced Mate Xs in an online event, as it had promised, after MWC Barcelona got cancelled.  It has a 6.6-inch OLED screen on the front and 6.38-inch screen on the back that expands to an 8-inch screen when unfolded, same as the Mate X, which didn’t actually go on sale after several delays. Sony Mobile has announced Xperia 10 II (pronounced mark 2), the company’s latest mid-range smartphone along with the Xperia 1 II. It features a 6-inch 21:9 Wide Full HD+ OLED screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection, is powered by Snapdragon 665 with 4GB of RAM, runs Android 10, and features triple rear cameras (12MP (main) +8MP (telephoto) and 8MP (120° ultra-wide) and an 8MP front camera. Sony Xperia 1 II with 6.5-inch 4K OLED 21:9 CinemaWide display, Snapdragon 865, 5G, Triple rear cameras with ZEISS optics announced

Sony just announced  Xperia 1 II (Pronounced Mark 2), the company’s latest flagship smartphone and its first 5G smartphone at an online event. It packs the same 6.5-inch 21:9 CinemaWide 4K HDR display offering bright colors with BRAVIA X1 for mobile as the predecessor, but is powered by Snapdragon 865 with 8GB of RAM and has support for sub-6GHz 5G. It packs triple rear cameras that includes 12-megapixel main camera with f/1.7 aperture, OIS, 12-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, 12-megapixel telephoto lens with OIS for 3x loss-less zoom, and there is also a 3D iToF (indirect Time-of-Flight) sensor. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip sold out within minutes in India in first day of pre-booking

Samsung started pre-booking for the Galaxy Z Flip in India priced at Rs. 1,09,999 earlier today on Samsung e-shop and select retail stores. Samsung has announced that it was sold out within minutes after the pre-booking opened at 11AM. Offline retail outlets taking pre-orders have also run out of stock. Users were asked to pay the full amount for orders. Buyers from Samsung e-shop will be offered premium white glove delivery in 10 cities, said the company. Microsoft Defender Advanced Threat Protection arrives for Linux, coming to Android and iOS soon

Microsoft announced Windows Defender Advanced Threat Protection for enterprise customers back in 2016. Later in 2018 it announced advanced threat protection (ATP) for Windows 7 and Windows 8.1, way before the Windows 7 support ended in January 2020. Today, it has announced public preview of Microsoft Defender ATP for Linux. It supports servers running distributed versions of RHEL 7+, CentOS Linux 7+, Ubuntu 16 LTS, or higher LTS, SLES 12+, Debian 9+ and Oracle EL 7. Samsung starts mass production of 7nm and 6nm-based mobile chips at new V1 EUV semiconductor line in Korea

Samsung today announced that it has opened new V1 semiconductor fabrication line in Hwaseong, Korea, dedicated to the extreme ultraviolet (EUV) lithography technology and produces chips using process node of 7 nanometer (nm) and below. It started building it back in February 2018, and began test wafer production in the second half of 2019.
