POCO appoints Himanshu Tandon as India Head; confirms new ‘F series’ phone launch

After announcing that Anuj Sharma has moved from POCO back to Xiaomi as the Chief Marketing Officer, last week, POCO today announced that it has appointed Himanshu Tandon as its India head. The company said that he has been a part of the founding team of POCO in India and has helped scale the brand over the years. Before joining Poco, he was a senior manager-regional business manager and corporate strategy at Videocon Mobiles. Sony launches BRAVIA XR series 4K Full Array LED Smart Google TVs in India

Sony today launched the new BRAVIA XR Full Array LED X90K series TVs, powered by the Next Gen Cognitive Processor XR. Combined with the precision of a Full Array LED panel, XR Triluminos Pro and XR Contrast Booster promise supreme realism with deep blacks and intense brightness with wider colour gamut. The BRAVIA X90K series has multiple zones of LEDs that light up independently, allowing to adjust and create contrast by making light areas lighter and dark areas darker with greater depth, textures.

HONOR Watch GS 3 with 1.43″ AMOLED display, Bluetooth calling launched in India for Rs. 12999

After teasers, HONOR has launched its HONOR Watch GS 3, the company’s latest smartwatch. It has a 1.43-inch AMOLED screen with a 3D curved glass, features a 10.5mm slim, 44g lightweight body. It has more than 100 different sports modes, along with more than 10 professional sports modes and 85 custom sports modes. Sony Xperia Ace III with 5.5″ display, Snapdragon 480, waterproof body starts rolling out

After rumours, Sony introduced the Xperia Ace III smartphone last month. Now it has started rolling out the phone in Japan. It packs a 5.5-inch HD+ display with an 5MP camera inside the notch, is powered by Snapdragon 480 SoC and runs Android 12. The phone has a 13MP rear camera, comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and packs a 4500mAh battery with support for fast charging. POCO recently confirmed the launch of POCO C40, the company’s new budget 4G smartphone globally on June 16th. After the moto g41 launch in November last year, motorola is gearing up to introduce the g42 smartphone soon. Press images of the phone surfaced last month, now the detailed specifications of the phone has surfaced. This reveals a 6.4-inch FHD+ OLED screen, Snapdragon 680 SoC compared to Helio G85 SoC in the predecessor. OPPO K10 5G launching in India on June 8

After rumors, OPPO has confirmed the launch of OPPO K10 5G smartphone in India on June 8th. The company said that the 4G version of the K10 that was launched earlier this year sold 1,00,000 units in the first 15 days. Spider-Man Remastered and Spider-Man: Miles Morales finally coming to PC this 2022

Sony’s Insomniac Games launched the Spider-Man game as a PS4 exclusive back in 2018. Later it was launched for PS5 in 2020. At that time, the company said that it will be a PlayStation exclusive. Today, Sony has confirmed that the remastered Spider-Man game is finally coming to PC on August 12th. The company is also bringing the Spider-Man: Miles Morales game to PC in the fall 2022, after it was launched in PS4 and PS5 in 2020. motorola has confirmed the launch of moto g82, the company’s next mid-range 5G smartphone in India on June 7th, after it was introduced last month. The company says that this will be the first phone in the price range in India to feature a 50MP camera with OIS. Compared to AMOLED display in the global version, this will have a pOLED display, says the company. It also confirmed support for 13 5G bands. Twitter is shutting down Tweetdeck for Mac on July 1

After shutting down Tweetdeck app for Android and iPhone in 2013 and Tweetdeck for Windows in 2016, Twitter has confirmed that it will be shutting down Tweetdeck for Mac on July 1st, 2022. The company has its own Twitter app for Mac, and said that it has decided to wind down the TweetDeck for Mac app to continue focusing on improving and bringing new features to TweetDeck.
