Samsung seeks to stop iPhone 4S sales in Japan, Australia


Samsung has filed preliminary injunction in the Tokyo District Court, Japan and in the New South Wales Registry, Australia to stop the sales of Apple’s iPhone 4S. This ban is regarding to the infringements on HSPA standard related patent and 3 user interface patent in Japan and infringements related to wireless telecommunications standards such as WCDMA and HSPA in Australia. Samsung ChatON Messaging app now available in the Android Market

Samsung ChatON, cross platform mobile messaging service is now available for Android. Samsung announced the app this August and it comes pre-installed on the latest bada 2.0 devices. Google Translate for Android now supports 12 more languages in Conversation Mode

Rockstar Games is celebrating their 10th anniversary of their popular Game, Grand Theft Auto III. To commemorate this they would launch Grand Theft Auto III for select new generation iOS and Android devices. They would also sell a limited-edition action figure of lead character Claude, created by Sideshow with jumpsuit and all the weapons such as bat, knife, grenades, pistol, sniper rifle, and assault rifle for $149.99. Microsoft launches Windows Phone 7.5 in India

Microsoft has launched Windows Phone 7.5 (Mango) in India that has new Metro UI, Live Tiles and Hubs. The application icons have been replaced by Live Tiles on the Windows Phone start screen that offers real-time updates from the Web such as news,  applications,  appointments or the status of friends.
