Sony Ericsson and Reliance has teamed up to offer money back plans with the purchase of Sony Ericsson W8 Walkman phone. The phone was available available in India this June. This is an Android phone that has 3 inch (320×480 Pixels) capacitive touch screen, 3.2MP, Bluetooth, FM Radio with RDS and expandable memory up to 16GB with microSD. Airtel has launched their 3G services in Kolkatta. It will be available starting midnight on 4th August 2011. Other than the high-speed internet on the move, Airtel 3G also offers Mobile TV, International video calling, Video streaming and much more.

Skype v2.1 for Android brings video calling support for more Android phones

Skype for Android has been updated to version 2.1.0.46 that brings 2-way video calling support to 17 more Android devices. They launched Skype 2.0 this June with the video calling support for few Android devices that ran Android 2.3. The new version also supports video calling in some of the Android 2.2 (Froyo) devices. MTNL claims that it is not increasing call tariffs

Some of the Indian telecom providers have increased their mobile tariffs recently. MTNL has announced that it will not increase the call tariffs in any of its plans for both prepaid & post-paid customers. They also offer free SIM cards for new customers and new FRC plans such as, calls at 50p/min, Any Call at 1p/ Sec and Local MTNL network call at 1/2 p per Second. BlackBerry Curve 9360 spotted again in hands on


The folks from OneMobileRing have got their hands on the unreleased BlackBerry Curve 9360 which is the successor to the Curve 3G 9300. The images and videos of the phone already got leaked few months back. The Blackberry Bold 9900 for T-Mobile price has been . According to the leaked image from the tmonews, the Blackberry Bold 9900 will cost $299.99 after $50 Mail In Rebate (MIR) with 2 year contract.
