Google Translate for Android now supports 12 more languages in Conversation Mode


Google Translate has been updated to version 2.2 that brings new features such as more language support in the Conversation Mode that lets you translate your speech to other language, in addition to English and Spanish, post-edit and correct speech input and lots more.

Features of Google Translate for Android v2.2

  • Now you can translate speech back and forth between more languages that include Brazilian Portuguese, Czech, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin Chinese, Polish, Russian and Turkish
  • Now you can correct the text before you translate it in the n Conversation Mode
  • Tap the magnifying glass icon or just pinch to zoom to view the translated text in full screen mode

The app is now optimized for Android tablets. Download the Google Translate app from the Android Market (Android 2.2 and up) for free.
