Lenovo LePhone K800 Intel Medfield powered smartphone launched in China

Lenovo has launched LePhone K800 powered by 1.6GHz high-performance Intel Atom processor and 400MHz GPU in China. It was announced at CES 2012 earlier this year. It has 4.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD TFT LCD touch screen display, 8MP camera with 1080p HD video recording and Dual LED flash, 1.3MP front facing camera. Samsung Galaxy S3 with 2GB RAM, LTE, Snapdragon S4 processor coming to Canada on June 20


Samsung has officially announced that the Galaxy S3 would be available in Canada starting from 20th June. It has 4.8-inch (1280×720 pixels) HD Super AMOLED display and is powered by Snapdragon S4 Dual Core 1.5 GHz instead of Exynos 4 Quad. It would come in 2 versions, SGH-i747 with LTE support and SGH-iT999 with HSPA+ 42 support. It runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) with TouchWiz with Motion UX. New Telecom Policy approved, Roaming charges to be abolished


The Cabinet has approved New Telecom Policy 2012 that would let telecom users avail free roaming across the country. It would also offer Full Mobile Number Portability (MNP) that would let the customers retain their number even if they shift from one circle to another, anywhere in the country without any extra charges. Microsoft launches Photosynth panorama app for Windows Phone

Microsoft has launched the Photosynth app for Windows Phone devices. The Photosynth app lets you capture and share interactive panoramas in a full sphere, 360 degrees horizontally and vertically. It uses core stitching and blending algorithms developed by Microsoft Research. The app was launched for iPhone last April. Samsung Galaxy S III launched in India for Rs. 43,180


Samsung has launched the Galaxy S III in India. Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S III earlier this month at an Event in London and the pre-booking started in India on Samsung eStore couple of weeks back. The Galaxy S III packs in 4.8 inch (720 x 1280 pixels) Super AMOLED display, 1.4GHz Quad-Core processor and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). Google Translate for Android v2.4 update brings new UI and more text to speech languages

Google Translate for Android has been updated to version 2.4 that brings new simplified Holo UI that offers drop down menus and the an action bar. The app lets you translate text between more than 64 languages with new Esperanto translation and speech to text in 17 languages. Evernote has launched their Evernote Hello app for Android. The app makes it easier to remember people with their photos along with their names, history of every encounter and location information. Vodafone new 3G post-paid plans


Vodafone has reduced the price of their 3G plans for post-paid customers as well. They launched new 3G plans for pre-paid customers last week.  Rs. 100 plan now offers 300MB of 3G data usages similar to the new pre-paid plan.
