Lenovo Vibe Shot, the company’s upcoming top-end smartphone in the Vibe series has surfaced on a Thai website. The main highlight of the smartphone is its 16-megapixel rear camera with triple-tone flash for providing consistent lighting in various environments. The camera also features a BSI sensor and optical image stabilization (OIS). It has metal body and comes with a dedicated shutter key for capturing images easily. OnePlus and Amazon.in have announced that the 16GB Silk White variant of the OnePlus will go on sale in India soon. The company launched the 64GB Sandstone Black variant of the OnePlus One smartphone in India back in December last year for Rs. 21,999. The 16GB Silk White variant will also require an India-specific invite to purchase. OnePlus conducted one-time open sale in India last week, which was a huge success. Xiaomi announced Mi Note, its top-end smartphone last month. We brought you unboxing and first impressions of the smartphone and also its photo gallery recently, here we have its benchmarks. It is powered by quad-core Snapdragon 801 (MSM 8274AC) 28nm HPm Krait 400 CPU clocked at 2.46 GHz power core with Adreno 330 GPU and 3GB of RAM, similar to the Mi 4. Revving in soon. The Motorola Droid Turbo was introduced back in October last year for Verizon Wireless in the U.S. Later it was introduced as Moto Maxx for global markets. The company also launched a range of smartphones along with the X5Max that includes the vivo X Shot X710. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 620 is an octa-core chip with 4 ARM Cortex A72 CPUs and 4 ARM Cortex A53 and CPUs, and the Snapdragon 618 is a hexa-core chip with 2 ARM Cortex A72 CPUs and 4 ARM Cortex A53 and CPUs. Both the Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 and 415 are octa-core chips with 8 ARM Cortex A53 64-bit CPUs. Both these have Adreno 405 GPU. Micromax has launched Canvas Pep Q371, the company’s latest budget smartphone in the Canvas series. It has a 4.5-inch FWVGA screen, is powered by a 1.3GHz quad core processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat), similar to the Canvas Xpress A99 that was released couple of months back. Samsung has announced that it has started developing industry’s first eMMC (embedded multimedia card memory) 5.1 flash memory. This is based on the eMMC 5.1 standard approved by JEDEC recently. Sequential reads and write speed of Samsung’s 64GB eMMC 5.0 flash memory were 250MB/s and 90MB/s respectively. Asus has announced Fonepad 7 FE375CL, the company’s latest Fonepad 7 variant with LTE support and Android 5.0 (Lollipop). It has the same 7-inch HD display seen on Asus Fonepad 7 (FE375CG) that was introduced last year, but this is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3530 processor and comes with single SIM support.
