BlackBerry Priv was confirmed by CEO John Chen last month. BlackBerry officially confirmed some of the specifications of the smartphone, and even posted a demo video showing the keyboard in action. BlackBerry Priv (STV100-1) surfaced on the official BlackBerry Shop in the US and Canada few hours back, revealing the complete specifications of the smartphone, before it was pulled. A user in CrackBerry forum (Via) has listed the specifications and also posted screenshots of the page. Idea to launch 4G services in over 750 towns across 10 circles by first half of 2016

Idea Cellular reported its second quarter (Q2) 2015 and half year revenues that ended on September 30, 2015. In the report, it also said that it is planning to roll out 4G services across 10 telecom service areas – Maharashtra & Goa, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh, Kerala, Punjab and Haryana, Karnataka, Orissa, Tamil Nadu and North East over 750 large and small towns by the first half of 2016. ACT Fibernet revises enterprise plans in Bangalore, 250Mbps plan now has 1.25TB FUP

ACT Fibernet by ACT (Atria Convergence Technologies Pvt. Ltd.) launched 250Mbps plan for business users in Bangalore back in April this year. Now it has revised its enterprise plans. ACT SME Phenomenal plan that offered 250Mbps speed with 1TB FUP at Rs. 12,000 per month now has 1.25TB FUP limit for the same price. FUP limit for 200Mbps and 150Mbps plans have also been upgraded to 1 TB and 750GB, respectively. Speed after FUP limit remains the same. ZTE launches new Axon and 64GB Axon Pro smartphones in the US for $330 and $450

ZTE introduced Axon Pro, the company’s flagship smartphone with a 5.5-inch Quad HD screen, Snapdragon 810 and 4GB of RAM for the U.S. market back in July. Now it has launched a cheaper Axon smartphone with a 5.5-inch 1080p screen, Snapdragon 801 SoC and 2GB of RAM. Most of the specifications of the Axon are different from the Chinese variant . Apple releases iOS 9.1 update, adds over 150 new emojis and Live Photos improvements

Apple has released iOS 9.1 update for the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch devices, few week after releasing iOS 9.0.2 update. The update brings 150 new emoji characters with full support for Unicode 7.0 and 8.0 emojis, Live Photo improvements and includes several bug fixes and improvements for these devices. Xiaomi MIUI 7 global stable ROM and OTA update to roll out starting from October 27

Xiaomi introduced MIUI 7 back in August at the Redmi Note 2 launch event back in August. It released global beta ROMs and over-the-air (OTA) updates for smartphones running on developer version at the end of August, as it promised at the launch event. Today it has announced that MIUI 7 global stable version will roll out from October 27, 2015. It will also be released for the Chinese version of the smartphones from the same date. HTC One A9 with 5-inch 1080p AMOLED display, Android 6.0, 7.2mm slim metal body announced

HTC has announced One A9, the company’s first One A series smartphone. It has a 5-inch full HD AMOLED, is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 617 processor and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with HTC Sense UI on top. HTC says that the unlocked version will get Android updates within 15 days once Google pushes out the update for the Nexus devices. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF) that improves camera’s focus, Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), RAW image capture and an Ultrapixel front-facing camera.
