Lenovo introduced its VIBE Xtension Selfie Flash at the CES 2015. We brought you the hands-on impressions from the event earlier this year, here we have the unboxing.

The box contents include the selfie flash and a small charging accessory that plugs into a USB slot of a charger or a laptop.

It has 8 diffused LEDs that promises natural color tones even in low-light. It plugs into smartphone’s 3.5mm audio jack to sync with shutter sync times of the phone. It is compatible only with the select Lenovo smartphones like the VIBE X2 Pro, PHAB, PHAB plus and others. Lenovo says that it needs a compatible software for the shutter sync to work.

It has a button on the back to run on the flash light for smartphones that doesn’t support flash sync. It has a aluminium finish offering a sturdy build.

It measures 68 x 36 x 12 mm and weighs just 10 grams. It packs a 80mAh rechargeable Li-polymer battery that lets you capture up to 100 photos on a single charge.

The Lenovo Vibe Xtension Selfie Flash is priced at $24.99 (Rs. 1630 approximately) in the US and is available only in some countries. Lenovo did not say when it will come to India.
