Xiaomi is celebrating Mi Anniversary – first anniversary of its entry into India with a week long offers and new launches. Today the company has reduced the price of the Mi 4 64GB variant to Rs. 17,999 for a day, down from the normal price of Rs. 19,999. This sale is exclusive to Flipkart. Xiaomi recently announced a second price cut of Rs. 2000 for both the 16GB and 64GB variants of the Mi 4. Xiaomi launched the Mi Note in Singapore and Malaysia recently. Today the company has announced a partnership with Uber that will let Uber riders in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur to order the Mi Note smartphone using the Uber app on-demand during an exclusive pre-launch flash sale on July 27th. The Mi Note is priced at S$ 569 in Singapore and RM1549 in Malaysia.

Motorola has reduced the price of both the 3G and 4G variants of the Moto E (2nd Gen) by Rs. 1000, These are now available for Rs. 5,999 and Rs. 6999, respectively. Flipkart also offers Rs. 2000 off in exchange for old smartphones. Airtel users also get double data for two months on select recharge packs.  It is not clear if this is a limited period price cut. Motorola Moto X (3rd Gen) recently surfaced  with a new pattern on the back that hinted at Moto X Sport. Now new images of the upcoming Moto X smartphone has surfaced (via) online. This shows a familiar Motorola design on the front with two grills, minimal bezel on the sides and also front-facing flash for the first time in a Motorola smartphone. ZTE introduced Axon Pro smartphone in the U.S with 5.5-inch Quad HD screen, Octa-Core Snapdragon 810 64-bit SoC and 4GB of RAM. It introduced Axon Lux smartphone with similar specifications in China, but this has a 128GB of internal storage with expansion slot, a fingerprint sensor and a leather-like finish on the back. Skype 5.6 for Android brings refreshed look to aid usability

Skype for Android has been updated to version 5.6 that brings a refreshed look. It now lets you see more chats on the Recent tab that allows you to catch up on more conversations, especially when you have multiple chats going at the same time. You can now view friends who are online, on all the screen with unified avatars that is also now rounded. Chat bubbles now have new color. This gives chats more clarity, says Skype.

Vivo announced the V1 and V1Max smartphones for India earlier this month. Today during the Vivo X5Pro launch, the company has officially launched these smartphones in India. Both these smartphones have run on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) with Funtouch OS 2.1 on top, have 4G LTE connectivity with support for 4G LTE bands (TDD B40 2300MHz and FDD B3 1800MHz) for India and have dual SIM support. OnePlus 2 gets certified in China, image shows home button and laser AF

OnePlus 2 has finally been certified on TENNA (Via) in China, which shows the image of the upcoming smartphone. This reveals a home button below the display, which is likely to have fingerprint sensor, as the company confirmed earlier. There is a laser auto focus on the back for the camera along with a dual-tone flash. It also shows the same sandstone finish on the back, but the company will sell style swap covers separately.
