Lenovo Vibe P1 Benchmarks

Lenovo launched Vibe P1, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone in India last month for Rs. 15999 on Flipkart. We already brought you photo gallery, hands-on impressions and recently brought you the unboxing of the smartphone, here we have the benchmarks of the smartphone. It is powered by an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 (MSM8939) 64-bit processor that has four ARM Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.46 GHz per core and other four Cortex A53 cores are clocked at 1.11 GHz per core. It has Adreno 405 GPU clocked at 550 MHz, 2GB of RAM, 5.5-inch 1080p screen and runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) with Lenovo’s own Vibe UI on top. Check out the synthetic benchmark scores below.

Xiaomi confirms Redmi Note 3 will be announced on November 24

Last week Xiaomi’s Co-founder and President, Lin Bin, posted teaser image of an upcoming Redmi Note series smartphone that will be unveiled tomorrow, November 24th. It was expected to be called the Redmi Note 2 Pro, but Xiaomi today confirmed that it will be released as the Redmi Note 3, which will be the successor of Redmi Note 2 that was introduced back in August. Google Nexus 5X 16GB and 32GB price drops to Rs. 24573 and Rs. 31550 in India

Google launched the LG Nexus 5X smartphone in India last month priced at Rs. 31,900 for the 16GB version and Rs. 35,900 for the 32GB variant. Now the price of 16GB and 32GB variants have dropped by over Rs. 7000 and Rs. 4000, respectively. The Nexus 6P that was launched for Rs. 39,999 for the 32GB version and Rs. 42,999 for the 64GB version haven’t received a price cut yet, but we can expect it in coming weeks, since it has only been few weeks it’s on sale. LG V10 Benchmarks

LG introduced V10, the company’s latest flagship smartphone in the new V series last month. We already brought you the unboxing, here we have the benchmarks. It is powered by a Hexa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 64-bit 20nm processor that has two bigger ARM Cortex A57 cores clocked at 1.82GHz per core and four smaller ARM Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.44GHz per core with 600 MHz Adreno 418 GPU. It has 4GB of RAM, 5.7-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) display, along with a 2.1-inch (160 x 1040 pixels) screen on top and runs on Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop) with LG UX on top. ZTE Blade X3, Blade X5, Blade Z7 and Blade X9 with 4G LTE, Android 5.1 announced

ZTE has introduced Blade X3, Blade X5, Blade Z7 and Blade X9 smartphones in Russia. These smartphones have 4G LTE connectivity, dual SIM support and run on Android 5.1 (Lollipop). The Blade X3, Blade X5 and the Blade Z7 have a 5-inch HD displays, while the Blade X9 comes with a 5.5-inch 1080p display. The Blade X5 and X9 smartphones have fingerprint sensor on the back. Samsung has introduced the W2016 (SM-W2016), the company’s latest premium flip phone in China, after it got certified on TENAA earlier this month. It packs dual 3.9-inch (1280 x 768 pixels) Super AMOLED displays, so that you can use the phone even when it’s closed. You can flip open to use the other screen with a keyboard. Earlier this month at the Future Unleashed 2015 event in Mumbai, Microsoft announced that it will launch the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL smartphones in India in December 2015. Now it has scheduled an event on November 30th to introduce these new smartphones. It has also scheduled exclusive event for Windows 10 Insiders in Mumbai and New Delhi on the same day that would let them experience the new Microsoft Lumia 950 and 950 XL with Windows 10 first-hand. Intel today announced that it has appointed Dr. Venkata Murthy Renduchintala as president of its newly created Client and Internet of Things (IoT) Businesses and Systems Architecture Group. He has also been appointed as an executive officer of Intel Corporation. Previously, he was executive vice president of Qualcomm Technologies Inc. and co-president of Qualcomm CDMA Technologies (QCT), where he was responsible for leading Qualcomm’s semiconductor business in the computing, mobile and adjacent segments. OnePlus introduced new cases for the OnePlus X smartphone that comes in five versions – Rosewood, Sandstone, Black Apricot, Bamboo and Karbon version, back in October. It also introduced Silicone cases in Black, Blue, Red and White colors at the time. Today the company has launched Sandstone, Bamboo, Karbon and Silicone cases in India, along with new Translucent and Clear cases. These cases are available in India from Amazon.in, but the company did not say when it will launch the remaining two Rosewood and Black Apricot cases in the country. Gionee is finally launching Marathon M5, its latest smartphone in the M series with whopping 6020mAh battery in India on November 24th at an event in Bangalore. It was introduced at an event in Beijing back in June, packs two 3010 battery cells that promises up to 62 hours of standby even if the phone has only 5% of power left. It has fast dual charging chips and can also be used to charge other devices.

Lenovo Vibe S1 with dual selfie cameras launching in India on November 23

Lenovo introduced the Vibe S1 smartphone with dual front-facing cameras at the IFA in September. Today the company has sent out invites for the launch of the selfie-focused smartphone in India on November 23rd. The 8-megapixel front-facing camera, along with the secondary 2-megapixel camera will offer crisp images and advanced depth of field, including background blur, background swap and improved low-light results, said Lenovo.

Samsung has introduced the most rumored Galaxy J3 (SM-J3109Z) smartphone finally in China. It packs a 5-inch HD Super AMOLED display, compared to 4.7-inch qHD AMOLED screen on the Galaxy J2 that was launched in India in September. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) OS with Samsung’s own UI on top, comes with a 8-megapixel auto focus rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Samsung launched the Galaxy On7 in India earlier this month, priced at Rs. 10,990 exclusively on Flipkart. We already brought you the unboxing of the smartphone, here we have its benchmarks. It powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) SoC that has four ARM Cortex-A53 CPUs clocked at 1.19 GHz per core and Adreno 306 GPU clocked at 400 MHz, similar to most of the A and E series smartphones. It has 1.5GB RAM, 5.5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display and runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop).
