OnePlus 3 discontinued in the US and Europe, still in stock in India

OnePlus introduced OnePlus 3T, upgraded version of its flagship OnePlus 3 earlier this week. After the launch the OnePlus 3 went out of stock in the official US, UK and European stores. Even though OnePlus support confirmed that the OnePlus 3 will be back in stock soon, without giving any details about the availability, Android Authority has confirmed from the company that it will not be selling the phone anymore in the US and Europe, in favor of the new OnePlus 3T.

When asked about the availability of the OnePlus 3, OnePlus support is now replying that “there are still no specifics on when will it be restocked”.

The OnePlus 3T is powered by a faster Snapdragon 821 processor, has a 16-megapixel front-facing camera with Samsung 3P8SP sensor and 1.0 µm pixel size, 3400mAh battery and new 128GB storage option, in addition to 64GB. It also comes in new Gunmetal color instead of Graphite. The design and other specifications are the same.

OnePlus launched the Soft Gold version of the OnePlus 3 only a couple of months back in India. Both the color variants are still in stock in India on Amazon.in, which will likely sell till the OnePlus 3T launches in the country.

The new OnePlus 3T will go on sale in the U.S. and Canada from November 22nd, and in Europe, UK, Hong Kong and few other countries from November 28th. It will launch in China on November 29th. We should know India launch details soon.
