Samsung invests Rs.4915 crore to double production in India

Samsung has announced an investment of INR 4,915 crore in India which will be used to add fresh capacity at Samsung’s Noida plant, where the company manufactures smartphones, refrigerators and flat panel televisions. Apple recently introduced iOS 11 with new Files app, Enhanced Siri, Voice Translation, Unified Control Center and more. The company has revealed that iPhone 5, iPhone 5c and iPad 4 will not get the upcoming iOS 11 update. You will still be able to use the devices with iOS 10 but you may not receive security updates. Apple announced that it has decided to end support for devices and apps using 32-bit processors as iOS 11 will only work on newer iPhones that have a 64-bit processor which allows the system to use larger amounts of memory.

Android Nougat adoption nears 10%, 7.1 Nougat is on just 0.6% of devices

Google has released Android distribution numbers for the month of June. Android Nougat adoption is increasing and is inching closer to 10%. The latest Android OS is now present on 9.5% of all Android devices of which Android Nougat 7.0 takes 8.9% share while Android 7.1 is owns just 0.6% even after seven months.

Andy Rubin’s Essential revealed its first high-end smartphone last week. Now, the company is facing a trademark infringement legal suit from the US-based accessory and case maker Spigen. A legal document was acquired by Android Police that mentions Spigen already holds the trademark for “Essential” that covers a number of mobile accessories it sells, including phone cases, chargers, and headphones.
