LG KC780: World’s thinnest 8 megapixel camera phone with face recognition features

LG has announced the World’s Slimmest 8 Megapixel Camera Slider mobile phone. The KC780 is just over half an inch thick (13.8mm), and can also shoot 30fps video.

As per Unwired, LG KC780 should support the following features:

– A TFT display with limited touchscreen support
– Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity
– USB 2.0 and Bluetooth 2.0
– Video recording at 30fps

Worlds Most Expensive Mobile Phones

Just out of curiosity I was today having a word with my friend who recently bought a 8800 Carbon Atre which I must say is a thing of pure indulgence. So we sat down to catch up a little and ordered a Tazo Chai Tea Latte. After a while playing with the sexy slider we started to talk on what the most expensive or the costliest phones would be like. So I took out my N95 8GB and searched along sipping my Chai to find out the answer. Well for now we know what they look like and how much they are but the stats are a bit old and if you guys know what the latest is please put in the missing pieces. We had a lot of cell phone makes in the run from  Vertu, Nokia, Gresso, Mobiado and GoldVish. Other mobile phone manufacturers are also partnering with luxury brands to produce a range of premium mobile phones, such as LG and Prada, D&G and Motorola, and now Tag Heuer and Modelabs. But the Top Spot has been grabbed by none other than Goldvish “Le million” priced appx. at a staggring $1,000,000 (£540,540).

Sony Ericsson post poor profits amidst crisis

Its a lonely world. Motorola was really feeling lonely, as Samsung, LG were reporting better profits while its prospects were hitting the floor. Feel no more. Sony Ericsson has finally heeled to its pathetic designs.

Mobile phone maker Sony Ericsson is reporting a steep 97 percent drop in second-quarter earnings as tougher market conditions hurt its sales.

Chennai tops SMS usage in India survey says so

A new study in America reveals that Americans hardly use SMS technology and finish their social talks through calls and emails. This raises a question upon the trillions upon trillions SMS that were reportedly sent were nothing but marketing gimmicks and spam messages.
In the US, 82% of respondents indicated that they had never used the text messaging feature on their mobile phone. A full 3% indicated that they had used text messaging on, at most, a monthly basis, while 15% used text messaging “every week or more.”

India the Preferred Mobile Destination

Former EA Games executive launches gaming company Ngmoco

In an almost diminished scenario as there are not many real players in the industry. The risk is aplenty though the future is really highly promising. Yes gaming has been taken to an all time high. Thanks to handsets like N81, I phone, and more so because of the introduction of N-gage gaming platform. But I am not talking about the symbian scenario though. Its about Neil Young.

Neil Young, a former executive in EA games has quit from his job and started a new Gaming company, Ngmoco.
