Vertu Unveils Four Golden Phones In Japan

Nokia recently unveiled four new golden phones through its luxury mobile phone brand Vertu. These handsets has been announced in Japan and comes with a price tag of $215,000.

Nokia recently unveiled four new golden phones through its luxury mobile phone brand Vertu. These handsets has been announced in Japan and named as Kinko, Kikusui, Nanten and Daigo. Each of these handsets comes with a price tag of $215,000 (approx. 20 million yen).

Worlds Most Expensive Mobile Phones

Just out of curiosity I was today having a word with my friend who recently bought a 8800 Carbon Atre which I must say is a thing of pure indulgence. So we sat down to catch up a little and ordered a Tazo Chai Tea Latte. After a while playing with the sexy slider we started to talk on what the most expensive or the costliest phones would be like. So I took out my N95 8GB and searched along sipping my Chai to find out the answer. Well for now we know what they look like and how much they are but the stats are a bit old and if you guys know what the latest is please put in the missing pieces. Till then you can take a look below at the worlds most costliest mobile devices.

We had a lot of cell phone makes in the run from  Vertu, Nokia, Gresso, Mobiado and GoldVish. Other mobile phone manufacturers are also partnering with luxury brands to produce a range of premium mobile phones, such as LG and Prada, D&G and Motorola, and now Tag Heuer and Modelabs. But the Top Spot has been grabbed by none other than Goldvish “Le million” priced appx. at a staggring $1,000,000 (£540,540).

New Asus PDA P552w launched

Asus launched a new PDA handset called the P552w.

The P552w runs on Window’s Mobile 6.1 Professional. This handset has a touch screen and aims to be a competitor to HTC Touch Diamond and other touch screen mobiles.

The handset features Glide (Gester technology) which uses the handset’s touch-responsive user interface to make navigating and performing tasks on the mobile more intuitive and interactive, by scrolling and flipping pages etc. with the touch of your finger.

Nokia N96 in stores from September 16

The Nokia N96 launched by the company in India recently will be available across stores from September 16th.

Touted to give tough competition to the Apple iPhone, this handset will be available for Rs 35,000. Read Fonearena’s coverage of iPhone Vs N96 here.

At Rs 35,000 it is an expensive phone but with higher features than iPhone which at Rs 32,000 – 36,000 is not cheap either.

Samsung F110, or the Adidas miCoach launched

Samsung has partnered with Adidas to launch the Samsung F110, or the Adidas miCoach.

Equipped with a web-based analysis tool that can help you with your sport needs, the miCoach has a heart rate monitor, which makes use of a belt that measures your heart beat off your chest.

It also has the accelerometer and the pedometer, the phone gives you a real-time voice-coaching during workouts. The phone can also read out your current stats like time, calories, heart rate etc.
