
Samsung TV Plus, the free ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) service available in India, has announced the integration of four new channels from Eenadu Television (ETV Network). This collaboration is set to expand the service’s content library, which now features over 150 FAST channels.
ETV Network, a broadcaster in India, provides a range of content including news, music, entertainment for young audiences, and comedy. The addition of these channels is intended to broaden Samsung TV Plus’s offerings in regional content and the arts and music categories.
According to the announcement, this partnership is part of a strategy to provide access to a wider variety of content, aiming to overcome linguistic and geographical barriers.
The partnership between ETV Network and Samsung TV Plus is presented as an example of collaboration between a traditional broadcaster and a smart TV platform. The initiative aims to cater to the evolving digital entertainment landscape in India.
