Byond Tech has launched 2 new Android Tablets, Mi-book Mi5 and Mi-book Mi9 in India. The Mi-Book Mi5 comes with a 7-inch (800 x 480 pixels) capacitive multi-touch display, while the Mi-Book Mi9 has a 9-inch (800 x 480 pixels) capacitive multi-touch display. These tablets are powered by a 1.2 GHz Cortex A8 processor and runs on Android 4.0.4 (Ice Cream Sandwich). The Mi-book Mi5 has SIM card slot with voice calling, Bluetooth and 3G support via Dongle. Huawei MediaPad 7 Lite Tablet now available in India for Rs. 13700
Huawei MediaPad 7 Lite that was announced back is August is now available in India from online retailer Flipkart. It has a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) IPS multi-touch display and is powered by a 1.2GHz Cortex A8 processor. It runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), and 3G support with voice calling, SMS and MMS. It has a 3.2 Megapixel rear camera and a 0.3 MP front-facing camera for video calling. Byond Tech has launched Mi-book Mi3, their new Android tablet in the Mi-book range . Most of the features are similar to the Mi1 tablet including a 7-inch (800 x 480 pixels) capacitive multi-touch display, Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) OS and 1.2 GHz Cortex A8 processor. It has a 2MP camera at the back along with a VGA front-facing camera for video calling. It has 3D video and gaming support and comes with free 3D goggles in the box similar to the Mi1. Pantel Technologies has launched T-Pad WS702C their new Android tablet with 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) capacitive touch screen display and a built-in SIM card slot for voice calling and 2G connectivity. It also has 3G support via dongle and is powered by a 1.2 GHz Cortex A8 processor with Mali 400 GPU similar to the Penta T-Pad WS703C that was launched earlier this month. Karbonn Mobiles and Innominds has launched AGNEE tablet with 3G support running Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) at the Innovation Qualcomm India 2012 event. It is based on QTI Reference Design (QRD) that is powered by a 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM7227A processor. Barnes and Nobles was recently in the lime light for making a partnership deal with Microsoft with respect to the “Nook” category of devices the book giant produces. We were wary of what the outcome might be, but in an obvious move, they are trying to battle their competitors again, with the announcement of the new Nooks, name the Nook HD and the Nook HD+. Samsung Galaxy Note 800 Review
Here is the FoneArena review of the Samsung Galaxy Note 800 (Note 10.1). It was originally announced at MWC 2012 earlier this year, but Samsung upgraded its specs when it launched. It launched in India in August. It packs in a 10.1-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) TFT display, 1.4 GHz quad-core Exynos processor and runs on Android 4.0(Ice Cream Sandwich) with the TouchWiz UI on top. Winknet has launched 2 new tablets, Ultimate (TWY300) and Wonder (TWY100) in India. The Winknet Ultimate has a 9.7-inch capacitive touch screen display and the Winknet Wonder comes with a 7-inch capacitive touch screen display. Both these tablets are powered by a 1.5 GHz processor and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). Datawind, the company behind the low-cost Aakash tablets has launched 4 new 7-inch tablets, UbiSlate 7Ri, UbiSlate 7R+, UbiSlate 7Ci an d UbiSlate 7C+. These tablets come with a 7-inch (800 x 480 pixels) display and run on Android 4.0.3 (Ice Cream Sandwich). These are powered by Cortex A8, 1 GHz processor and has 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory and a front-facing camera. Some models also have GPRS data support.
