HP OmniPad 12 with 12″ 2K 90Hz display, Snapdragon 6 Gen 3, quad speakers launched in India


HP has launched the HP OmniPad 12 in India, describing it as an India-first device designed for learning, work and everyday use. The tablet features a detachable keyboard, is aimed at students, first-time users, MSMEs and young professionals, and comes preloaded with education and skilling apps, including iPrep (iDream Education), Lexillion (StudyMatix) and Brands.live.

The HP OmniPad 12 features a 12-inch 2K multi-touch display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, up to 400 nits brightness, 90Hz refresh rate and 100% sRGB colour coverage.It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor with a Qualcomm Adreno GPU, paired with 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB/256GB UFS storage options. Storage can be expanded up to 1TB using a microSD card.

The tablet offers up to 18 hours of battery life and supports HP Fast Charge, which can charge the device from 0 to 90% in around 90 minutes. It weighs 600g and comes with a detachable keyboard made using post-consumer recycled materials. The device also incorporates recycled aluminium.

For audio and video calls, the tablet includes quad speakers with DTS Ultra, dual high-SNR microphones, an 8MP front camera and a 13MP rear camera. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2 and a USB Type-C (USB 2.0) port. The HP OmniPad 12 runs Android 16 and is EPEAT Silver registered and ENERGY STAR certified.

The HP OmniPad 12 starts at Rs. 48,999 for the 128GB storage variant, while the 256GB storage variant is priced at Rs. 54,999.

It is available in Denim Blue and Meteor Silver colour options through the HP Online Store, Amazon.in, Flipkart, Reliance, Croma, Vijay Sales and HP World stores. It comes with a one-year limited warranty covering parts and labour.
