
motorola is set to expand its tablet portfolio in India with the official launch of its premium tablet, the moto pad 70 pro, on June 27 as the successor to last year’s moto Pad 60 Pro. Ahead of the official release, key specifications has been confirmed. The device is designed to target both productivity users and multimedia consumers by bundling key accessories and offering high-end hardware.

Display and Design
The moto pad 70 pro features a large 13-inch (33cm) MaxVision display. The screen outputs a 3.5K resolution with a 144Hz refresh rate and includes support for Dolby Vision. Additional panel specifications include a 99% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage and a high brightness mode (HBM) reaching up to 800 nits. Structurally, the tablet features a slim 6.2mm profile, weighs 589 grams, and will be available in a blue color variant.
Performance and Hardware
The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset paired with high-speed LPDDR5X RAM. To maintain thermal efficiency during heavy workflows or high-frame-rate gaming, the hardware incorporates a 3-layer AI Max Cooler system. For external connectivity and peripheral support, the tablet includes Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, and a microSD card slot that supports storage expansion up to 2TB.
Battery and Power Management
The moto pad 70 pro packs a substantial 10,200mAh battery which provides up to 15 hours of online video playback and up to 45 days of standby time. While the device supports up to 45W fast charging, the retail packaging is confirmed to include a higher-capacity 68W TurboPower charger in the box.
Software, AI, and Ecosystem Integration
The tablet will ship running Android 16 out of the box. motorola guarantees software upgrades up to Android 19 alongside security updates extending through 2030.
The user interface integrates a suite of intelligence features under the moto AI umbrella, working in tandem with Google ecosystem tools such as Circle to Search and Gemini. Additionally, the tablet incorporates Motorola’s Smart Connect software platform, which enables multi-device productivity through:

Accessories and Availability
For audio, the tablet comes equipped with a quad-speaker setup tuned by JBL with Dolby Atmos optimization. To position the device as a laptop alternative, Motorola is bundling the Moto Pen Pro stylus in the box, while select retail configurations will also include a detachable keyboard with an integrated trackpad to support a desktop-like “PC Mode”.
The moto pad 70 pro will be available for purchase starting June 27, 2026, through Flipkart, motorola.in, and select leading retail stores across India.
