Huawei Watch launched in India for Rs. 22999

Huawei has finally launched the Huawei Watch in India, as expected. It was originally announced back in March last year, but it went on sale only in September. It has a 1.4-inch (400 x 400 pixels) circular AMOLED display with 10,000:1 high contrast ratio, scratch-proof sapphire crystal lens and has cold-forged stainless steel frame. It is Water rated to 100 meters and can withstand swimming and other water activities.

Samsung launched the the Gear S2 and Gear S2 classic in India earlier this year. Today the company has launched two new premium variants of the Gear S2 Classic, one encased in 18K Rose Gold and another in Platinum and also the Gear S2 smartwatch in White color in the country. LG had halted sales of Watch Urbane 2nd Edition LTE is making a come back after it was taken down from the stores last year. The Android Wear smartwatch was launched in November last year and was an upgrade over LG’s original model.

Apple watchOS 2.2 with multi-watch pairing and Maps enhancements released

Apple has rolled out watchOS 2.2 for the Apple Watch users, as expected. This update brings several new features, including option to pair and swap between multiple Apple Watch models on iPhones running iOS 9.3 or later. Apple also includes an image of the user’s Apple Watch, complete with their style, color, and even the watch face to make it easier for users to distinguish between their connected watches. Asus ZenWatch 2 Review

The original ZenWatch from ASUS was a breath of fresh air in the smartwatch industry thanks to its new and beautiful design. However, it wasn’t without faults and the lack of WiFi was a bummer to many especially after the Android 5.1.1 update. The new ZenWatch 2 comes with 2 different models that target different audiences and better protection against the elements thanks to the IP67 rating compared to the IP55 rating of the original.
