Last week images of the Huawei Ascend Mate 2 surfaced, but the display resolution was not confirmed. Now Engadget Chinese reports that the Ascend Mate 2 would have the same 6.1-inch 720p screen present on the Ascend Mate, but this would use a faster 1.6 GHz processor and run on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) with Emotion UI on top. More images of the phone confirms the 13-megapixel rear camera through the camera UI on the phone. The images show shiny back with patterns and chrome finish on the sides. 11 Micromax Canvas smartphones rumored to get Android 4.4 KitKat update

Micromax offered Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) update for the A116 Canvas HD back in June. But both the Canvas 4 and the Canvas Turbo were launched on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) with no sign of future upgrades even though these have built-on OTA update support.  MMXNewscaster, popular for smartphone leaks has tweeted that Micromax plans to release Android 4.4 (KitKat) update for 11 Canvas devices and 3 Canvas smartphones would be upgraded to Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). If this turns out to be true, its an awesome news for the Canvas users, since they would get the Android 4.4 directly, skipping the Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) update. Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 SM-T320 FCC

Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 (SM-T320) has been spotted at the FCC. According to earlier rumors Samsung would launched this tablet along with the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 (SM-T520/T525) and Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 (SM-P900/P905) sometime in Q1 2014. The  Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is expected to feature a 8.4-inch screen, as the name indicates, come with Bluetooth LE and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac connectivity. It is also likely to come in a 4G LTE variant, similar to the Galaxy Tab 3.

Huawei launched the Ascend Mate in India back in June, which was one of the best mid-range large-screen smartphones at that time. Now, images of the Ascend Mate 2 has surfaced on weibo from the popular C Technology. According to the images, the Black phone is the Ascend Mate and the White one is the Ascend Mate 2. According to the leaked image, the Ascend Mate 2 has a narrow frame with a smaller bezel. It is also likely to come with brushed metal frame, but this might just have a plastic build that looks like Metal, says the user. LG G3 rumored to come with fingerprint sensor

LG G3 to come with a fingerprint sensor, according to a recent report from Korea Herald. LG is conducting a series of tests for the product with a fingerprint sensor and it is likely to use swipe fingerprint sensor, unlike the iPhone 5S, the report adds. Apple introduced finger print sensor on the iPhone 5s that lets you just place your finger to unlock the device. HTC One Max has a finger print sensor on its back that lets you swipe to unlock the phone and also launch lets you applications by configuring multiple fingers. Samsung reportedly starts mass production of 5.25-inch 2560 × 1440 AMOLED screens for Galaxy S5

Samsung introduced the Galaxy S4 earlier this year with a 5-inch Super AMOLED 1080p Display. A recent report published by the Korean news portal, DDaily states that Samsung has already begun mass production of 5.25-inch 2560 × 1440 pixels AMOLED screens for the Galaxy S5. The display will use the ‘diamond’ pixel arrangement, similar to the Galaxy S4 and the Note 3, the report says. LG G2 mini specifications surface, qHD display, quad-core Snapdragon 400 CPU and Android 4.4

LG D410, a mysterious smartphone has surfaced on GFXBench. The phone is rumored to be launched as G2 mini, which the company is reportedly working on, for 2014 launch. Earlier rumors revealed that the phone would have a 4.7-inch 1080p display, Snapdragon 800 processor and 2GB of RAM, but the leaked benchmark details reveal that the phone would come with a qHD (960 x 540 pixels) display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 (MSM8226) processor with Adreno 305 GPU and run on Android 4.4 (Kit Kat). Nokia Normandy leaks out in new colors

Nokia phone codenamed Normandy was expected to be a large-screen Asha phone with the looks of Lumia, but the recent rumors suggested that the Nokia Normandy is an Android smartphone that Nokia is working on, which might be released in 2014. Now evleaks has posted an image of the phone in new colors. The Twitter user has also mentioned the year as 2013 in the tweet, so the phone might not be released since the year is going to end, even though earlier rumors revealed that Nokia is continuing the development of Nokia Normandy in “full steam”. Samsung SM-G900S, a mysterious devices with a 2K (2560 x 1440 pixels) display has appeared on the GFXBench website. It is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor clocked at 2.5 GHz with a Adreno 330 GPU, which is likely to be MSM8974AC chip, even though it is mentioned as MSM8974 in the benchmarks. Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Lite rumored to debut at MWC 2014

Samsung Galaxy Grand Lite was rumored to debut at the MWC 2014, now SamMobile reports that the Galaxy Note 3 Lite (SM-N7505) would be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress 2014.
