Swipe Technologies has launched ELITE, the company’s first smartphone in the online-only Elite sub-brand, exclusively on Flipkart, as it promised. It packs a 5-inch HD 2.5D cured glass display with 2mm narrow bezel, is powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) with Swipe’s own Freedom OS. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera. It has dual SIM support and 3G connectivity, similar to most other Swipe smartphones. It was announced at the Galaxy Unpacked 2015 event last week and packs a 5.7-inch Quad HD (2560×1440 pixels) Super AMOLED display that is curved on both the sides, is powered by a Octa-Core ( Quad 2.1GHz + Quad 1.5GHz) Exynos 7420 processor and runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop). Meizu MX5 to launch in India exclusively on Snapdeal

Meizu has announced that it has partnered with Snapdeal to sell its flagship MX5 smartphone in India. It had partnered with Amazon.in to sell its m1 note and the m2 note smartphones in the country. The MX5 has mBack touch-sensitive home button that offers different functions based on press, similar to the m2 note. It also has a mTouch 2.0 fingerprint sensor on the home button, comes with 4G connectivity with support for LTE bands for India. LG introduces Music Flow P5 and SoundPop 360 portable Bluetooth speakers

LG has introduced its new Music Flow P5 (NP5550) and SoundPop 360 (NP7860) portable Bluetooth speakers ahead of IFA. Both these have multi-point connectivity so that you can connect up to three Bluetooth devices at the same time and allows users to simultaneously control the devices and share music. These also have TV Sound Sync feature that allows either speaker to be connected to a Bluetooth-compatible TV and enjoy separated surround sound at home. LG introduced Music Flow P7 (NP7550) Bluetooth speaker earlier this year in Korea.

Misfit introduces Speedo Shine activity, sleep and swim tracker

Misfit has partnered with Speedo to launch Speedo Shine activity, swim, and sleep tracker. It is targeted at swimmers and will track a swimmer’s lap count at industry-leading accuracy for all stroke types using proprietary lap counting algorithms embedded in the device’s firmware track, said the company. It is just 8.6mm thick weighs just 9.4 grams.
