Asus launched its new smartphones in the Zenfone series, the Zenfone 2 Deluxe, Zenfone 2 Laser 5.5 and the Zenfone Selfie at the ZenFestival in India earlier this month. Asus already announced that these smartphones will be available exclusively on Flipkart and also thorough ASUS Exclusive stores and authorized retailers starting from this month. iberry’s Auxus has launched Auxus PRIME P8000 in partnership with Chinese smartphone maker Elephone exclusively on Snapdeal, as it announced yesterday. It has a 5.5-inch 1080p screen, is powered by a 1.3 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor and runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop). It supports Elephone ROMs and customized ROMs. It has 4G LTE connectivity with support for 4G LTE bands (TDD B40 2300MHz and FDD B3 1800MHz) for India.

Uber starts accepting cash payments in Chennai

Uber started testing cash payment option in Hyderabad in May this year and expanded it to Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Kochi and Pune in India last month. Now it has started accepting cash payments in Chennai for uberGO and uberX rides. It shows two nano SIM card slots, but these are not hybrid SIM card slots like the Galaxy A series, so you can’t use the secondary SIM slot as a microSD expansion slot. Xiaomi has announced that it sold 800,000 Redmi Note 2 smartphones in the first 12 hours of sale, which is a new record for the company. Back in April Xiaomi entered into the Guinness Book of World Records for selling 2.11 million smartphones online in 24 hours during its Mi Fan Fest in China.
