Xiaomi launched the Mi TV 4A Horizon Edition series of smart TVs in India that includes 32-inch HD ready and 43-inch Full HD models with immersive Horizon display with minimal bezels back in September last year. Today it has confirmed the launch of new 40-inch model in the country on June 1st. The company has confirmed Horizon Display with bezel-less design and the image matches it. OnePlus has launched its new OnePlus series Y1 40″ Full HD TV in India. Similar to the older model this has 93% DCI-P2 Color Gamut and gamma engine, which the company calls OnePlus Cinematic Display, runs Android TV 9.0 with built-in Chromecast, has Google Play and Google Assistant. Airtel adds additional 5MHz spectrum in 1800MHz band in Tamil Nadu to enhance network coverage

Airtel, one of India’s largest cellular network companies, has announced an upgrade to its Tamil Nadu network with the addition of 5MHz in the 1800 MHz band. This brings Airtel’s total spectrum bank in Tamil Nadu to 65MHz, which is one of the largest among cellular network carriers in the state.

Vivo X60 curved screen edition with 6.56-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, Exynos 1080, up to 12GB RAM, Zeiss optics announced

Vivo announced X60 and X60 Pro smartphones in China back in December last year. The phones feature a 6.56-inch FHD+ HDR10+ E3 AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate and 92.7% screen-to-body ratio, but only the X60 Pro has a curved screen. Xiaomi this week confirmed that it will introduce new Redmi Note 10 series 5G smartphones in China on May 26th. The company has been posting new teaser images and is also posting features of the phone. The company is expected to introduce several models including a Dimensity 700 base Note 10 5G model, and there are also reports of Dimensity 900 for Note 10 Pro 5G and even a top-end Dimensity 1100-powered Note 10 Pro+ / Ultra model.
