Motorola Razr Maxx up for pre-order in India for Rs. 31,999

Motorola Razr Maxx is now available for pre-order in India from online retailer Infibeam. The LTE version, Droid Razr Maxx for Verizon was unveiled at CES 2012 earlier this year and the 3G HSPA version was announced in April. It was priced in UKin soon after that. It comes with a 3300 mAh battery, which offers up to 17.6 hours of talk-time and 607 hours standby on a single charge. It is 8.99 mm thick and weighs 145 grams.

Developer manages to run iOS apps on BlackBerry PlayBook

A developer has managed to run iOS apps running on the BlackBerry PlayBook via an iOS player. The developer called businesscat2000 has posted several videos on the CrackBerry forums after which they tested him to prove the videos are real. RIM brought support to run Java and Android apps via App players last year and is prepping for the next BlackBerry 10 OS launch that would also be available for the PlayBook which would bring new features. Samsung TecTiles Programmable NFC Tags launched

Samsung has launched TecTiles Programmable NFC Tags that can be customized to launch apps, send text messages, share contact information, change phone settings, send text messages automatically and more, with NFC-enabled Galaxy smartphones. Nokia 808 PureView launched in India for Rs. 33,899

Nokia has finally launched the 808 PureView, their flagship camera phone with 41MP sensor. Nokia announced the Nokia 808 PureView at MWC 2012 and said it would launch in May 2012, but it was delayed. They announced last week that it would launch mid-June and sent us an invite for today’s launch event. It even got a price tag on their Nokia store yesterday. It has 4-inch (640 x 360 pixels) AMOLED CBD display with Gorilla Glass protection, 1.3 GHz processor and runs on Nokia Belle FP1 OS. Sony has announced Xperia tipo and tipo dual, new affordable Android smartphones. These phones have 3.2-inch (480 x 320 pixels) 262 000 color TFT display and is powered by 800 MHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. It offers xLOUD audio Experience and the Xperia tipo dual has dual SIM support with one touch SIM switch key. Sony Xperia Miro with 3.5-inch display and Android 4.0 announced

Sony has unveiled Xperia Miro, their new phone running Android 4.0 (Ice Cream sandwich) on their Facebook page. It has 3.5-inch display and comes with 5MP camera with flash, video recording at 30 fps and secondary video calling camera. Nokia 808 Pureview gets a price tag of Rs.33899 on Nokia Store few hours before India launch

The folks at BGR.in have just posted that the Nokia 808 PureView has got a new price tag of Rs.33899 on the Nokia Store with an unconfirmed MRP of Rs.34999. The 808 PureView packs a whopping 41 Megapixel Camera sensor with a Xenon flash and capable for recording 1080p videos.From the little time , I have had with the device since Mobile World Congress, CTIA and Nokia India events , I totally want one as I have owned the Nokia N82, N86 8MP and the N8. The PureView is a must have if you are camera phone freak like me. Only thing which is not so fancy about the PureView is the Symbian OS but then that is the OS which has good image processing capabilities. HTC Desire C that was announced last month is now available in India from online retailer Buytheprice.com. The HTC comes with 3.5-inch HVGA display and is powered by 600 MHz processor. It runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) with Sense 4 and comes with Beats audio support. It has 5MP camera. It is 12.25 mm thick and weighs 100g. LG Optimus 4X HD starts rolling out in Europe

LG has announced that the Optimus 4X HD would be available in Europe from today starting from Germany. It would be available in Netherlands, Sweden, Great Britain, Italy and other European major countries followed by it as they announced last month.
