Idea Ultra+ and Idea FAB Android smartphones launched for Rs. 8300 and Rs. 4999

Idea Ultra Plus and Ultra Fab launch

Idea Cellular has launched, Idea Ultra+ and Idea FAB, two new Android smartphones. The Ultra+ has a 5-inch FWVGA screen, powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera. The  Idea FAB has a 4-inch display, powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a 3.2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash.

Karbonn Titanium Octane and Octane Plus price drops to Rs. 11990 and Rs. 13990

Karbonn Titanium Octane

Karbonn launched the Titanium Octane and Octane Plus with octa-core processor and Android 4.4 for Rs. 14490 and Rs. 17990 back in March earlier this year. The company has reduced the price of these smartphones to Rs. 11990 and Rs. 13990, respectively in few months after the launch. These are available on Snapdeal at new rates. iberry has launched Auxus Note 5.5, the company’s first smartphone with a fingerprint scanner. It has a 5.5-inch HD OGS display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection, powered by a 1.7 GHz Octa-Core with MediaTek MT6592 processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) OS. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera, similar to Nuclea N2 and Nuclea X. Moto G2 with 5 inch screen rumored to be released on Sept.10

The successor of the popular budget handset Moto G could be released  as soon as next month according to a new report from GSM Arena. Apparently, an unidentified retailer received the information directly from a Motorola representative that the successor to the Moto G “should” be available for purchase beginning September 10.

Intex has launched the Aqua Style, the company’s latest budget smartphone in the Aqua series. It has a 4-inch WVGA IPS display, powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.4.2 (KitKat). It has a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. LG G Flex price drops to Rs. 39999 in India

LG launched the G Flex, the company’s first smartphone with a curved display in India for Rs. 69,999, back in February earlier this year. Now the smartphone is available online Rs. 39,999, about Rs. 30,000 down from the launch price. It was announced  back in October 2013 and packs a 6-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD Curved Plastic OLED display that vertically concave from top to bottom to a radius of 700mm, flexible battery and a self healing back. Samsung launched the Galaxy Grand 2 in White in India, back in January this year. In February, Black and Pink variants of the smartphone went on sale in India. Now the Gold variant of the Grand 2 has appeared on the official Samsung India eStore.  It has a leather-like removable back cover similar to other color variants and has black bezel on the front.
