Samsung’s Q4 2014 profits down 27%, mobile revenue down 21% YoY

Samsung has reported its earnings for Q4 2014, in which the company has managed to make operating profit of 5.29 trillion won ($4.9 billion) for the quarter ended September 30, 2014, down 27% from 8.31 trillion won compared to the same quarter last year. It has reported net profit of 5.35 trillion won ($4.9 billion) on revenues of 52.73 trillion won ($48.6 billion), down 10% compared to the same quarter last year, up 11% quarter-on-quarter (QoQ). OneDrive for Business now available for Mac and iPad

Microsoft has made OneDrive for Business now available from Mac and iPad. The company has also rolled out update for OneDrive app for iOS that will allow users to manage their personal and work accounts.

It has a 5-inch HD IPS display, is powered by a Octa-Core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 (4×1.5GHz + 4×1.0GHz) processor and runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop). Huawei will not develop Windows 10 smartphones

Airtel partners with Nokia Networks for FDD-LTE deployment in 6 circles in India

Airtel has partnered with Nokia Networks to deploy FDD-LTE on 1800 MHz in six new (Mumbai, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Punjab and West Bengal) circles across India, as expected. Last year Nokia Networks grabbed a 3G contract from Bharti Airtel that included India-first dual band, dual carrier 3G network implementation. Dropbox buys design collaboration platform Pixelapse

Dropbox has bought Pixelapse, a startup building collaboration tool for designers, for an undisclosed amount. Founded in 2011, Pixelapse will work towards integrating its service into Dropbox over the next year.
