Twitter plans to revamp DM, add instant timeline and more in 2015

Twitter revealed its roadmap for next year that includes new apps and features. The micro blogging site will soon debut “instant timeline” that will allow new users to see what is happening on the site without following anyone.

Google has updated its keyboard app to version 4.0.2  that adds two new Material Design themes,  improved design for suggestions and corrections and more. This adds Material  dark and Material  light Material Design themes in addition to existing Holo White and Holo Blue themes. You can head to settings and go to themes to select new themes. Google releases standalone Messenger app for Android

Google removed messaging app on Nexus devices and released an updated Hangouts app that combines SMS and Hangouts conversation. Now Google has released a separate messaging app called Messenger instead of using Hangouts as the messaging app. It can handle both SMS and MMS and lets you share pictures and videos from the chat dialog, search contacts and conversations, block SMSs, send audio messages, send emjios and more. Samsung responds to Nvidia, counter sues over false benchmark results

Samsung Electronics is filing a countersuit against Nvidia, after the latter alleged Samsung of infringing upon GPU technology in September. Now, the South Korean tech giant is accusing Nvidia of misleading consumers by revealing false benchmark test results for its Shield Tablet in comparison with the Samsung Galaxy Note 4.

Android 5.0 Lollipop factory images for Nexus 5, 7 WiFi (2012 & 2013) and 10 now available

Immediately after it started rolling out the Android 5.0 Lollipop over-the-air (OTA) update, Google has released factory images and binaries for the Nexus 5, WiFi variants of both Nexus 7 2012 and Nexus 7 2013 and the Nexus 10. Factory images and binaries for the Nexus 4 and the Nexus 6 are not available yet. Google released factory images for Nexus 9 and the Nexus Player last week. Google has started rolling out Android 5.0 Lollipop over-the-air(OTA) update for Nexus 5, WiFi variants of both Nexus 7 2012 and Nexus 7 2013 and Nexus 10. Update for the 3G/LTE versions of the Nexus 7 2012 and 2013 and Nexus 4 haven’t started yet. The Nexus 6 and the Nexus 9 have received a minor update to address bugs.
