NVIDIA has introduced  TITAN Xp, its latest top-end graphics card based on its latest Pascal architecture and is built on TSMC’s 16nm FinFET process. NVIDIA says that it will offer up to 3x faster performance than the Maxwell-based GTX Titan X. It still uses 250W power, comes in black color with similar heatsink design. LG expects 82.4% increase in operating profit YoY in Q1 2017

LG Electronics today announced its preliminary earnings results for the first quarter of 2017, which will be announced later this year. The company expects to make 14.7 trillion Korean won and operating profit of 921.5 billion korean won. It expects revenues to be 9.7% higher and operating profit 82.4% higher than the same period last year, ts second-best in quarterly profits ever. Apple’s 9.7-inch iPad 2017 now available for pre-order on Flipkart starting at Rs. 28900

Apple announced new 9.7-inch iPad last month to replace the iPad Air 2 that was introduced in 2014. It is now available for pre-order from Flipkart in India. It has the same 9.7-inch Retina display, but this is powered by A9 chip and M9 motion coprocessor. It Touch ID fingerprint sensor and is just 7.5 mm thick. It also has a 8-megapixel camera and a 1.2-megapixel FaceTime HD front camera.

It was announced in China earlier this year, and packs a a 5.7-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display, is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 626 14nm SoC, runs on Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) with Samsung’s own UI on top, has a 16-megapixel rear camera with f/1.9 aperture, dual-tone LED flash and a 16-megapixel front-facing camera.

Samsung predicts stronger profits for Q1 2017

Samsung has announced earnings guidance for Q1 2017. The South Korean company’s January-March operating profit is expected to be 9.9 trillion won ($8.7 billion), up 48 percent from 6.7 trillion won in the same period last year. This will be significantly larger than its 6.68 trillion won ($5.9 billion) profit for the same period last year.

Nubia introduces compact NeoAir VR 360-degree camera that can be connected to phones

Along with the Nubia Z17 mini, Nubia also introduced NeoAir VR, its first 360-degree camera that can record 360-degree panoramic videos and also capture 360-degree photos. It has two 210-degree fish-eye lens on either sides and can be connect to a phone through USB Type-C port to preview the photos or videos captured through the app. It has plug and play interface so it carries out functions using USB Type-C and doesn’t use Bluetooth or WiFi Direct.
