Jio Summer Surprise Offer Withdrawal

Jio said that it is in the process of fully complying with the regulator’s advice, and will be withdrawing the 3 months complimentary benefits of Jio Summer Surprise as soon as operationally feasible, over the next few days.

It confirmed that all customers who have subscribed to Jio Summer Surprise offer prior to its discontinuation will remain eligible for the offer.

Last month Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal (TDSAT) asked the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) to re-examine issues relating to the approval granted to the Reliance Jio’s free promotional offer and apprise it of the “outcome and findings of the examination” within two weeks.
