Lava has released Android 5.0 (Lollipop) update for its Iris Fuel 50 smartphone, soon after it rolled out the update for the Iris X1 Grand smartphone. It was launched back in October last year running Android 4.4 (KitKat). To remind you, the Iris Fuel 50 has a 5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) IPS display, is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor, comes with 1GB RAM, 8GB internal memory with expansion slot, has a 8MP rear camera with dual LED Flash, 2MP front-facing camera and a 3000mAh battery. Acer launched the Acer One S1001, the company’s latest 2-in-1 hybrid device in India on Amazon last month, now the 2-in-1 has been launched across retail stores in India. It can be used as a table or as a laptop with its latch-less keyboard dock that has a in-built 500GB HDD. The Bolt D320 has a 4.5-inch FWVGA screen, is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core MediaTek processor, has a 3.2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a VGA front-facing camera. It has leather-like back cover. Both these smartphone run on Android KiKat, have 3G connectivity and dual SIM support. Asus Zenfone 2 launching in India in the last week of April

Asus has finally announced that the company’s most expected Zenfone 2 smartphone will be available in India in the last week of April. It has not announced if it is bringing all the Zenfone 2 variants to India. There are three variants of the Zenfone 2 – ZE500CL and ZE550ML have HD displays and 2GB RAM. while the ZE551ML model comes with 5.5-inch 1080p display and 2GB or 4GB RAM.
