Gionee has launched F103, the company’s latest smartphone in the new fashion and lifestyle F Series in India. It packs a 5-inch HD IPS display, is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core 64-bit processor and runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) with Amigo UI 3.1. It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It is just 7.9mm thick, features mirror glass back and a metal frame. Flipkart acquires payment services firm FX Mart

Flipkart has scooped up payments services start-up FX Mart Pvt. Ltd. The homegrown e-tailer has made the acquisition to integrate payment service in its own platform along with Myntra’s within next three months.

Meizu to offer doorstep servicing facility, open more than 40 service centres in India

It has a 4.3-inch (480 x 800 pixels) Super AMOLED display that you rarely get in budget smartphones, but it has 512MB RAM and 4GB of internal storage, which might not attract the buyers. It has a similar design and almost similar specifications as the Galaxy J1 that went on sale in India earlier this year. Vodafone India to launch 4G services by December 2015

Vodafone India today announced that it will roll out 4G services in the country by December 2015. Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Bengaluru and Kochi will be the first set of cities to get Vodafone 4G in the first wave of the roll-out by the end of the calendar year 2015. It has already started testing 4G services and has roped in technology infrastructure service providers for the network roll-out.
