Lenovo announced the K3 Note in India as an upgraded version of the A7000 with a 5.5″ 1080p display compared to the 720p display on the latter. Similarly, Lenovo have announced an upgraded version of the A7000 in the Philippines as well but with an A7000 Plus moniker instead of the K3 Note name by which it is known in India.

Asus introduced the Lolliflash selfie flash and ZenEars earphones at the Zenfone 2 launch event in India back in April along with the ZenPower power bank. Today the company has announced that both these accessories are now available in India. The Lolliflash is a dual LED flash that connects to the smartphone’s 3.5mm audio jack. Micromax has launched Canvas Juice 3 and Canvas Juice 3+ smartphones in the Juice series with a 4000mAh battery. The Canvas Juice 3 went on sale last week. Both the smartphones are powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor, run on Android Lollipop and have a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash. Motorola today announced that it has sold 5.6 million smartphones in India till date. This includes all the Motorola smartphones in Moto G, Moto X and Moto E series. Earlier this year Motorola announced that it had sold 3 million smartphones in the country. It sold 2.6 million smartphones in less than 8 months. Airtel has launched its 4G LTE services in Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala, after it launched 4G services in Kochi and Kozhikode last month. It launched 4G services in Brahmapur, Odisha recently. Airtel launched 4G services in 296 towns across India last month. Airtel 4G is available to customers across mobile phones, dongles, 4G hotspots and Wi-Fi dongles in the city. Motorola has launched the Moto X Play, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone in India, as expected. It was announced back in July and packs a 5.5-inch 1080p IPS display, is powered by a Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor, has a 21-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, 5-megapixel front-facing camera, 4G LTE support and 3630mAh battery. The version launching in India also comes with dual SIM support. It has Moto Voice, Moto Display, Moto Assist and Moto Actions. Micromax launched Canvas Laptab, a 2-in-1 with inbuilt 3G SIM support running Windows 8.1 back in April. Today the company has announced that all new Canvas LapTab units will come pre-loaded with Windows 10. Microsoft released Windows 10 for all existing users running on Windows 7 and later on July 29th. The Canvas LapTab has a 10.1-inch (1280×800 pixels) IPS screen, is powered by a quad-core Intel Atom Z3735F processor, has a 2-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. SanDisk has launched Connect Wireless Stick in India. It is a small USB flash drive that also doubles up as a Wi-Fi media server so that users can access files stored on the drive over multiple devices. Apple has reduced the price of the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus and the iPhone 5s smartphones in India. The price cut could be the result of upcoming launch of iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus smartphones that are expected to launch in India next month. Alcatel OneTouch has launched OneTouch Watch, the company’s smartwatch in India on Flipkart. It was introduced at the CES 2015 earlier this year and has a 1.22 inch (240 x 240 pixels) touchscreen display, is powered by a STM429 chipset, runs on proprietary OS and uses a companion app installed on the phone to connect from either iOS or Android. The app allows you to choose the notifications that appear on your watch, adjust your watch face and see health data collected by the watch.
