LG unveiled the L Series III lineup that includes L40, L70 and L90 at the MWC 2014 back in February. Both the L70 Dual and L90 Dual smartphones went on sale in India recently. Today, the LG L80 Dual (D380) has been listed on the official LG India website, priced at Rs. 17,500 (MRP). Even though the phone was showcased at the MWC earlier this year, press images of the LG L80 Dual surfaced in Russia last month and it went on the official Russian website few weeks back. It was initially announced back in December last year in China and it was showcased at the CES 2014 in January. Vineet Taneja joins Micromax as CEO from Samsung India

Micromax has announced that it has appointed Vineet Taneja as Chief Executive Officer. He previously served as country Head for IT & Mobile businesses of Samsung India before leaving the company few weeks back. He joined Samsung back in March 2013 and had previously served in Bharti Airtel, Nokia India (between January 2008 to April 2010) and Hindustan Lever. He will focus on consolidating Micromax’s strong presence in the market, driving global partnerships and strategic alliances while strengthening the organizational capabilities within Micromax, said the company.
