Micromax is all set to launch Canvas Fire 4G+ Q412, its new Canvas Fire series smartphone and the successor of the Canvas Fire 4G that was launched . It is listed on the official website, and packs a 4.7-inch HD screen, is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6735P 64-bit processor and runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop). Vodafone launches 4G LTE services in India starting from Kochi

Vodafone has launched its 4G LTE services in Kochi, Kerala in India, as expected. It is based on 1800MHz FDD-LTE band 3, which the company acquired last year. It is offering free 4G upgrade with a SIM, with a trial pack of 120MB at Rs 29 and a bonanza pack of 20GB at Rs. 2499. Vodafone 4G services will be available to customers in Kochi starting from December 14. Vodafone already announced that it will roll out 4G services in Trivandrum and Kozhikode in Kerala in the first wave of the roll-out in a phased manner. Paytm buys hyperlocal service startup Near.in for $2M

In a bid to bolster focus on online to offline commerce, Paytm has acquired hyper-local services marketplace Near.in. The deal is valued between $1.5 million and $2 million, according to a report from the Economic Times.
