Airtel has launched 4G LTE services in Gujarat, few months after offering 4G SIMs in the circle. Airtel 4G in Gujarat will be offered using 1800MHz (FD LTE) spectrum. Airtel 4G is available through mobile phones, 4G hotspots and dongles in the town. With today’s launch Airtel 4G is now available in 17 circles across India. Vivo has launched Y55L, the company’s latest smartphone in the ‘Y Series’ in India. It also announced Kent Cheng as the new CEO for its India Operations. He joined Vivo early this year. “He has been instrumental in the brand’s overall journey and has been contributing to making it a world class enterprise,” said the company. Xiaomi India has announced that it has sold more than 500,000 smartphones in less than three days between 1 and 3 October. The Chinese smartphone maker sold Mi and Redmi smartphones in three days of festive season sales on Amazon, Snapdeal and Flipkart.

Google unveiled its Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones few hours back. The company already confirmed that it will be available for pre-order in India starting from October 13th starting at Rs. 57,000 compared to $649 in the US, which converts to about Rs. 43,190. Lenovo today launched the Moto Z and Moto Z Play smartphones in India. It has also launched several Mods for these smartphones that includes Wooden, Ballistic nylon and Leather style shells, Incipio offGRID Power Pack, JBL Soundboost speaker, Insta-share Projector and Hasselblad True Zoom Camera Mod. These will also be available as bundles with the Moto Z and Moto Z Play on Flipkart and Amazon.in from October 17th midnight.
