Samsung has launched Galaxy Tab Iris with iris-recognition technology that is Aadhaar-compliant and STQC-certified under ‘Make for India’ initiative. It packs a 5-inch HD screen, is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera. Hyve Mobility, a new smartphone company based in New Delhi is all set to launch its flagship smartphone on June 2nd. The company is headed by Sharad Mehrotra, who was previously Apple India’s enterprise mobility head. He quit Apple in December 2015, after working there for almost 8 years and started Hyve Mobility in January 2016 to develop Android smartphones. The company already confirmed that it will launch the Snapdragon 820 version of the phone in India, even though HTC India website listed the HTC 10 Lifestyle with Snapdragon 652 soon after the announcement. LeEco India just sent an invite for an event on June 8th. The company is expected to launch the  Le 2, Le 2 Pro and Le Max smartphones at the event. These phones were unveiled in China last month, come with a unibody metal design, fingerprint sensor and have new Continual Digital Lossless Audio (CDLA) audio standard for loss-less audio through USB Type-C port and doesn’t have 3.5mm audio jack.
