Samsung has finally started rolling out Android 7.0 Nougat update for Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge devices India, few months after rolling out the update for the S7 and S7 edge smartphones in the country. Even the Galaxy Note5 got the Nougat update recently. The update brings several UX and performance fixes, including improvements to notifications, multi-window mode and enhancements to the system upgrade and app installation process. Amazon today launched Fire TV Stick, its latest streaming device  that plugs into an HDTV that lets you watch movies, TV shows, use apps and play games. It is powered by quad-core MediaTek processor and has 802.11ac dual-band WiFi. It also comes bundled with a voice remote that lets you search Amazon Video content using just your voice and offers spoken language support for Indian customers in Hindi and English. Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ launched in India for Rs. 57900 and Rs. 64900

Samsung just launched its flagship Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ smartphones in India, as it had promised. These phones were announced last month and pack a 5.8-inch and 6.2-inch Quad HD+ infinity screen, both with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the front and the back. These also have Iris scanner on the front, on the back there is a fingerprint sensor as well as heart rate monitor. LG G6 pre-registration begins in India, expected to launch soon

LG started rolling out its flagship G6 smartphone globally starting this month from U.S. and Canada after it was launched in Korea. The company already confirmed that the G6 will roll out in other countries worldwide including Asia over the course of the next several weeks. Recently the company has started taking pre-registrations for the smartphone, similar to that Samsung did not its Galaxy S8 devices. Google launches Areo food delivery and home services app in India

Google has silently launched Areo, its new hyperlocal services that lets you get your orders delivered to your current location, another address, or multiple locations. It is currently live in Mumbai and Bengaluru. Google says that you can order a cleaner at your home, lunch at your office, and a plumber at a family member’s home. Airtel Digital TV today launched Internet TV, which is an Android TV box that is developed by LG that also offers 500 satellite TV channels. Airtel says that this is the first India’s first Hybrid DTH Set-top box. It comes pre-loaded with Netflix, YouTube, Google Play Music, Google Play Games, Airtel Movies and more apps. Since there is Google Play, you can install more apps and games. It is also compatible with Dolby Surround Sound Audio. Sony Xperia XA1 with 5-inch edge-to-edge display, 23MP camera, Android 7.0 launched in India for Rs. 19990

Sony Mobile has launched Xperia XA1, its latest mid-range smartphone and the successor of last year’s Xperia XA in India. It was announced at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 in Barcelona and packs a 5-inch HD edge-to-edge display, similar to the predecessor, but this is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P20 processor and runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat). It has a 23-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, Hybrid Auto-Focus and a 8-megapixel auto focus front-facing camera.
