Realme C2 with 6.1-inch HD+ Dewdrop display, dual rear cameras, 4000mAh battery launched in India starting at Rs. 5999

Realme just launched C2, the company’s latest budget smartphone and the successor of last year’s Realme C1 in India. It has a 6.1-inch HD+ Dewdrop display and 89.35% screen-to-body ratio, is powered by MediaTek Helio P22 SoC with up to 3GB of RAM and runs ColorOS 6.0 based on Android 9.0 (Pie). It has a 13-megapixel rear camera along with a secondary 2-megapixel camera for portrait shots and a 5-megapixel front camera with AI selfies and AI face unlock for 0.3-second unlock.

ASUS Zenfone Lite L1 and Zenfone Max M1 get a permanent price cut in India, now available starting at Rs. 4999

ASUS launched the Zenfone Max M1 last year in India and it was a budget-oriented smartphone. The company also launched an entry-level smartphone named Zenfone Lite L1 in October 2018, and we have seen both the smartphones being offered at discounted prices many times during sales. Xiaomi Redmi 7 expected to launch in India alongside Redmi Y3 on April 24

We already know that the Redmi Y3, selfie-focused smartphone with a 32-megapixel front will launch in India on April 24th. Now the company has posted that it has shipped 7 million Y series smartphones since the launch, and also said that it has more surprises lined up at the launch hinting at number 7, so the company could launch the  Redmi 7 alongside.

Mediatek’s 5G chip is coming to India by end of 2019

Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 goes on open sale in India

Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 7 smartphone in India starting at Rs. 9999 in February, and the phone went on sale starting from March 6th. After six weeks of weekly sale, the company today started selling the phone through open sale on Flipkart, Mi.com and Mi Home stores.

TikTok ban: App removed from the Google Play Store and Apple App store in India after court order

TikTok

TikTok app has been removed from the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store after Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology had sent a letter to Apple and Google to abide by court order to prohibit downloading of TikTok Mobile Application. This comes after the Madurai Bench of the Madras high court yesterday refused a request by the China’s Bytedance Technology to suspend a ban on the app.
