Jio launched its feature phone, JioPhone in June 2017 in India. The phone sported a candy bar design, came with support for 4G VoLTE and had support for 22 Indian languages. The successor to the JioPhone i.e., JioPhone 2 with QWERTY keyboard was launched in July 2018. Jio saw great sales of both the smartphones and today, new reports have emerged that Jio becomes the leader in the feature phone market.

Xiaomi introduced its Mi LED Smart Bulb along with its Redmi Y3 launch in India event earlier this week. As promised, it has started crowdfunding for smart bulb in the country. It is a 10W bulb with 800 Lumens of brightness, comes with support for Amazon Alexa as well as Google Assistant, and doesn’t require a separate bridge like Philips Hue. It comes with E27 socket so you have to purchase the B22 converter separately.

The Madurai bench of the Madras high court has lifted the ban on downloading of TikTok Mobile Application. The court directed TikTok developer ByteDance to regularly monitor and regulate content on the app, and said that failure to do so will attract contempt proceedings.
