HiSense to launch QLED, UHD Smart televisions in India on August 6

HiSense has announced that it will launch of their new range of TVs in India including their 100” Laser TV, their 86” 8K TVs, the Dual Cell QLED TV models. Its QLED, UHD & Smart televisions will launch on August 6th. These TVs will run Android TV 9.0, featuring built-in Google Assistant, built-in Chromecast and a One touch access enabled remote.

Apple starts production of the iPhone 11 in India

In a move that boosts the “Make in India” initiative, Apple has started producing their flagship smartphone, the iPhone 11, locally in India at the Foxconn plant near Chennai. This was confirmed by Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal. The iPhone 11 will be joining the iPhone Xr, as one of the two premium phones that Apple assembles in India.

Realme just launched the realme 6i, a cheaper version of the realme 6 smartphone that was launched earlier this year, as it had promised. It has a 6.5-inch Full HD+ LCD screen with 90Hz refresh rate and 120Hz touch sampling rate, 90.5% screen-to-body ratio, is powered by the MediaTek Helio G90T SoC with up to 6GB of RAM, but features a 48-megapixel primary rear camera instead of 64-megapixel camera in the realme 6, while retaining the 8-megapixel 119° ultra-wide angle lens, 2-megapixel mono sensor and a 2-megapixel sensor for 4cm macro shots.
