Amazon launches new Echo Show 10 and Echo Show 5 smart speakers with a screen, built-in camera in India

Amazon has launched new Echo Show 5 and the Echo Show 10 devices in India. The new Echo Show 10 comes with a 10.1-inch HD display, 13-megapixel front facing camera, premium sound and intelligent motion that moves the display to face you as you interact with Alexa. The Echo Show 5 (2nd Gen) is an upgrade to the old model that is still compact, featuring a 5.5-inch display, and it now comes with an HD camera for better video calling or monitoring home remotely and is available in three colours. Nothing ear (1) true wireless earbuds launching on July 27

London-based consumer tech company Nothing today announced that it will launch ear (1), the company’s first true wireless earbuds globally and in India, simultaneously on July 27th. The company already confirmed that it will be sold on Flipkart in India, and it will also offer No Cost EMI. It was supposed to launch this June, but the launch has slightly been pushed to summer. PLI scheme for mobile phone manufacturing extended until 2025-26

Last year, the government introduced Production-Linked Incentive (PLI) Schemes for Mobile Manufacturing and Large Scale Electronics Manufacturing that provides incentive of 6% to 4% on incremental sales of goods under target segments that are manufactured in India, for a period of five years. Yesterday, Union Finance & Corporate Affairs Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced that this scheme for a period of 2020-21 till 2024-25 has been extended by one year i.e. till 2025-26. nCORE Games has launched FAU-G: Fearless and United Guards multiplayer beta after the campaign mode was released back in January.
