Samsung Galaxy S4 mini and Galaxy S3 get price cut, now available for Rs. 22080 and Rs. 24900

Samsung has cut the price of the Galaxy S4 mini and the Galaxy S3 in India. The Galaxy S3 got a price cut in India back in February. It was launched in India in May 2012 at a MRP of Rs. 43,180. It is now available for Rs. 24,900 after the recent price cut. No sign of price cut for the 32GB version of the Galaxy S3 yet. This is the first price cut for the Galaxy S4 mini since its launch earlier this July for Rs. 27990. The Galaxy S4 mini is now available for Rs. 22,080 after the price cut. Spice Stellar Nhance 2 Mi-437, successor of the Stellar Nhance Mi-435 is now available from online retailer Saholic in India. It has a 4-inch (480 x 800 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powreed by a 1 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). Even though the new Stellar Nhance runs on Android 4.2, the rear camera has been downgraded to  3-megapixel. It has LED flash and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera. MTS India receives its 3rd carrier in the 800 MHz spectrum from DoT

Sistema Shyam TeleServices Limited (SSTL) that nationally operates its telecom services under the MTS brand has announced that ihas received its 3rd carrier in the 800 Mhz spectrum band from the Department of Telecom (DoT). This would let them launch its next generation, REV B Phase II telecom services says the company. Apple iPhone 5C and 5S launching in India on Nov 1st

Apple has just confirmed in a global announcement that the iPhone 5C and iPhone 5S are launching in India and several other countries on Friday November 1st. What comes as a surprise is that India and Mexico get a pretty prominent mention in the press release.Pricing info is still not revealed but we are expecting the 5S  to be priced very similar to the iPhone 5 launch pricing at around Rs.45000.The 5C should be priced at around the Rs.35000 mark.The main highlights iPhone 5S include the  new TouchID fingerprint scanner , improved camera , faster internals and some new colours including the Gold and Space Grey colors. The JBL Pebbles is a USB powered plug-and-play stereo speakers for PCs, while the JBL Pulse is a wireless portable speaker with 2 high-performance drivers and a built-in bass port.  JBL OnBeat Rumble was already announced in India, now the pricing is available for the Bluetooth-equipped loudspeaker dock. The new JBL Charge portable Bluetooth speaker that launched in India last month had also been added to the list. In addition, the HK Go+Play Wireless from Harman Kardon, a premium Bluetooth Speakers would also go on sale in India. Vodafone plans to increase its stake in the Indian unit


Vodafone in planning to buy out minority shareholders in its Indian arm for about US$2 billion, according to a recent report from the Financial Times. Vodafone owns about 64% of Vodafone India. Piramal Healthcare run by Billionaire industrialist Ajay Piramal has 11% stake and the remaining 25% stake is controlled by undisclosed minority shareholders.
