Sistema Shyam TeleServices Limited (SSTL) that nationally operates its telecom services under the MTS brand has launched MTS Blaze 5.0, the company’s latest dual SIM (CDMA+GSM) smartphone in the Blaze series. It packs a 4.5 FWVGA display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). Micromax has entered into the Windows Phone market with Canvas Win W092 and Canvas Win W121 in the Canvas Win series. The company partnered with Microsoft earlier this year to launch Windows Phone 8.1 smartphones. These are powered by quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processors and run on Windows Phone 8.1. The Canvas Win W092, an affordable Windows Phone handset has a 4-inch WVGA IPS screen, a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. The Canvas Win W121 has a 5-inch HD display, a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It also has leather finish back panel. Recently Spice said that it would launch Firefox OS-powered smartphones with dual SIM support by July 2014. Now Intex has announced that it plans to launch Firefox OS device, Cloud FX in August. Mozilla partners with Intex and Spice to launch affordable Firefox OS devices in India

Oppo has launched the Find 7a along with the Find 7 in India. It has a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) full HD display at 403 PPI with Gorilla Glass 3, powered by a 2.3 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 Quad Core (MSM8974AB) processor and runs on ColorOS 1.2.0 based on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean). It has the same 13-megapixel camera Sony IMX214 stacked sensor with 6-element lens, f/2.0 aperture present on the Find 7 and uses software enhancements to capture images at 50-megapixel (8,160 x 6,120 pixels) resolution. The camera is also capable of shooting RAW images and has 4K video recording. It has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture.
